"Simba, no! Baby boy." Rumi started as Simba ripped and shredded the paper she was writing on. "Simba, you're terrible. Now what if I needed that for something huh?" Rumi questioned and chuckled while rubbing Simba's fur. Simba licked Rumi's face and she scrunched up her face and laughed. "Simba, ew that's nasty. I'm going to have tiger breath all over me."

As Rumi tore off the half ripped piece of paper that Simba destroyed and she began to write on a piece of clean paper. This time, Simba didn't destroy her paper. He just sat and watched her write. While Rumi wrote in her journal, she heard his voice and began to smile at the sound of it.

"Rumi, Rumi, Rumi," Shiloh called to her and she smiled. For the past five days Shiloh would call out to her and she loved it. Whether he was away or at home he would do it. Rumi had been at Shiloh's home for almost two weeks and it was peaceful being with Shiloh. Shiloh made her feel safe and secure when she's with him.

Currently, Shiloh was out hunting. He had been away from his home for two days and he was ready to return home. Rumi was just as ready as he was because she had not been able to get a good night's sleep since he had left to go hunt with his pack.

However, Rumi had not been in contact with anyone. Not her parents, not her sister, no one. Although she knew would have to get in touch with her parents sooner or later, she was dreading it.

Rumi's thoughts were interrupted when Simba got up from the bed and went to the door and Rumi had already knew why—Shiloh was home. Rumi smiled before jumping up and going to the door. Seconds later, the door swung open and Shiloh walked in. Before Shiloh could completely walk in, Rumi jumped on Shiloh out of delight. He chuckled and wrapped his free arm around Rumi and shut the door.

"You miss me that much?" Shiloh asked.

"Yes," Rumi mumbled into Shiloh's neck. Rumi's legs tighter around Shiloh's waist as he carried her over to the bed and she clung to him like a baby.

"So uu not gone let me go?" Shiloh asked Rumi and she shook her head causing Shiloh to chuckle and nod. "Can I at least take a shower first? I'm sweaty and sticky," Shiloh started and Rumi looked at him with a frown before hopping down. Simba headbutted Shiloh's leg and then Rumi's.

"Aw, you want in on the action too huh Simba?" Shiloh questioned before rubbing the top of Simba's head. Rumi sat down on the bed and closed her journal.

"Have you tried to get in contact with your parents anytime since I've been gone the past few days?"

"Nope," Rumi said.

"Rumi, just go home so that they can see that you are okay and safe. Once that's over, you can come right back. They need to know you're okay. They are probably worried sick about you right now," Shiloh stated and Rumi sighed.

"Okay, I'll go tomorrow, but you are coming with me," Rumi smirked.

"Fine by me."

After taking a long, hot shower, Shiloh got in bed and lied down. His head rested on Rumi's lower belly as she lied on her back and ran her hands through his hair. Shiloh and Simba had both drifted off to sleep but Rumi was still wide awake and thinking. She didn't want to mentally punish herself, but she couldn't help but to think about how differently things would have gone if Shiloh didn't come and intervene. There's no telling what would have happened to her or her father.

"Stop it, Rumi. Nothing would have happened to you," Shiloh stated and Rumi's eyes widened.

"I thought you were sleeping. Shiloh, how can you hear what I'm thinking?" Rumi questioned in confusion.

"I'm an alpha, love. There are many things I can do," Shiloh chuckled and it vibrated on her belly. Rumi smiled and began to think about him on purpose to see if he could hear her thoughts. She began to think about how handsome he was to her and Rumi could feel his smile widen.

"I hear all that," Shiloh spoke and Rumi smiled down at him as he looked up at her.

"I wanted you to hear it," Rumi taunted.

Shiloh kissed the small part of her lower belly that was exposed and laid his head back down. Soon after, the both of them drifted off into a peaceful slumber.

Meanwhile, Keita was losing it mentally. It had been two weeks since the last time she had seen or heard from Juelz—she was extremely furious and on edge about it. Keita still had Phoenix tied up, but soon she would be letting her go. Keita felt that Juelz had gotten married and forgotten all about her. She felt betrayed. To say she was angry would be an understatement.

But Keita wasn't too worried cause now she could get who she truly longed for—Shiloh. That was who she wanted and she felt that she had a better chance to get him now that Juelz and Rumi were married. But little to her knowledge, Rumi and Juelz we're not married, and she would not be able to fathom when she finds out.

Keita walked into the room where she was holding Phoenix captive. Keita gazed over Phoenix and shook her head. Phoenix lips were dry and brittle. Her face was bloody and bruised. Keita began to untie Phoenix and Phoenix opened her half shut eyes as best as she could. Phoenix could she regret on Keita' face and she chuckled. Keita gazed at Phoenix as she laughed before speaking.

"What's so funny?" Keita asked.

"You. You're funny. You sitting up here feeling sorry for me when you're the reason my face looks this why. What kind of woman are you? And the crazy part is, you don't even see your own worth. You are beautiful, yet you help man tear down another woman." Phoenix said to Keita and Keita could only hold her head down in shame. Keita didn't have and explanation for what she did to Phoenix. She did not have an explanation for a lot of things she did to people. She knew what she did to Phoenix was unacceptable and unnecessary because she did not know Phoenix from a can of paint and Phoenix had not done anything to her.

"I'm sorry, but if you understood or knew how I grew up you would understand  or knew how I grew up you would understand why I am the way I am," Keita stated as she untied Phoenix's wrist.

"It doesn't matter how you grew up. We are all damaged in one way on another, but it's up to us to change and be better people. You're letting your past control your present and your future. Don't do that because you are only hurting yourself in the end," Phoenix explained and Keita nodded before quarrying down and untying Phoenix ankles.

"Thanks for not kicking my ass," Keita stated and Phoenix chuckled.

"Tit for tat is not my style. I let karma do it's own work," Phoenix shrugged and Keita sighed and began to think about everything she has ever done to people out of spite and she sighed. She knew her karma was coming, but that is not what scared her. Not knowing when or how her karma was going to hit her is what scared.

"Are you going to be okay?" Keita asked.

"Yeah, I should be. I just rest," Phoenix stated and glanced at Keita only to see regret all over her face. "Hey, you good. You just need to learn from your mistakes, now and become a better you but do it for yourself and not for anyone else," Phoenix explained and Keita nodded. "I'll be seeing you around," Phoenix said and Keita nodded before the both of them parted ways.
