"What's wrong, mom?" Rosemary asked as I sat back in my seat. I had taken my helmet off; she must've seen the worried look on my face. I looked over at her and smiled.
"Nothing."
"You're a horrible liar, mom."
"Oh really?"
"Yes, really," she said with a laugh. I looked her in her beautiful brown eyes.
"I can't lie to you, can I?"
"Nope! I can see right through you."
"If you could, you'd never wanna see me again," I said, looking away.
"You're thinking about those people you murdered, aren't you?" She asked softly.
"How did you-" but then I stopped. Barrik must have told her about it. "What exactly did he tell you?" I asked warily, looking at her again.
"He said you were a fraud, that you were a murderer, and that you helped General Hux kill his father," she said in a low voice. "But it's not true, is it?"
"Rose..."
"No... I don't believe it! You? Murdering kids? That's impossible! Isn't it?" She exclaimed, standing up and backing away.
"Rosemary, please," I said. She continued to back away from me; I was going to kill Barrik.
"All those kids, gone," she said in a whisper.
"Rosemary, let me explain! It's not what it sounds like!" I shouted, standing up as well.
"How!?"
"I-" but I didn't know how to sugar coat this one. I had killed those people in cold blood.
"Rosemary, please, sit down," I said softly, extending my hand to her. She glared at it, refusing to touch me.
"Please?" I tried again.
"Fine," she said reluctantly, taking my hand and sitting down. I then began to tell her what happened on Corellia.
~Six Years Ago~
"Armitage!" I whispered harshly. I was standing against a wall. It was the middle of the day; so many people were buzzing about, doing whatever normal people do.
"What?" He said as he ran up to me, cautiously looking around.
"Did you find him?" I asked.
"Yes I did; it's time he pays for what he did," Armitage said with a scowl. "Bring him into the streets."
"You want to do it out there?" I asked as I followed him into a small home.
"Yes, I do," Armitage said quietly as we sneaked into his father's room. I quickly grabbed his father and, with the help of Armitage, dragged him out of the house and into the streets. Many people stopped what they were doing and looked at us in surprise. I bound his father's hands and hung him by his arms from a post in the streets; I then stepped away, letting Armitage complete the job. Brendol Hux struggled and tried to escape the post, but to no avail.
"Armitage! What are you doing? What have you let that girl talk you into?" He asked, panicking.
"That girl is my fiance, Father. And this was my idea, not hers," Armitage said, pulling a knife from his belt ams walking closer to his father. Brendol gulped and began to beg.
"Please, son, don't do this," he pleaded. Armitage hesitated for a moment. I walked to him and whispered to him.
"Don't let him get to your head, Armitage. He hurt you," I said encouragingly. I hated Brendol as much as Armitage did.
