I stretched my arms, standing up.
"That was the best movie ever!" Abbie screamed.
"You say that after every movie we watch!" I laughed.
"Shut up," she mumbled laughing.
"Well I'm going to bed, night guys," I waved to Abbie and Charlie.
"Night," they chorused, I knew they would watch something else together like they normally do when I need to sleep.*****************
It was now Friday, the day of the partey. I jumped out of bed, to excited to do anything but prepare. I rushed downstairs still in my PJ's and saw mum in the kitchen.
"Mama! Mama!" I called running towards her.
"My dear child, why are you so happy?" Mum asked me.
"Oh, Mama, for the next three days, including today, Jack, Sebastian, Charlotte and I are going to celebrate their results from University! Please can I go! Please," I begged. Even if they say I can't, I'm still going.
"Yes, Sophia, you can," I grinned at my mum's answer.
"Oh, thank you!" I squealed turning around to go back upstairs and pack.
"Sophia!" Mum called.
"Yes," I sang.
"You're job starts Monday at 10am, okay," mum informed me, "you're dad will text you the address to meet them."
"Okay, Mama," my smile slightly wavered but I picked it back up and continued to run upstairs."Well, you're up early," Abbie said coming into my room, the same time as me, from The Den.
"Yeah, and why are you so excited?" Charlie questioned appearing from my wardrobe as well with a thud.
"Partey," I whispered squealing at the end. Charlie's eyes went wide and a grin broke out on her face.
"Yeah, baby!" She fist pumped the air.
"What partey? And why am I not invited!?" Abbie frowned.
"The one to celebrate our results, it shall be the best partey EVER!" Charlie and I shouted together.
"And I'm not invited because?" Abbie asked, again.
"First, you're too young. Second, it's too big for you to go to. Third, there will be alcohol and you can't drink. Fourth, we're celebrating our results from our hard work. Fifth, you can't. And sixth the behaviour there would not be acceptable for you," I counted off all the reasons she couldn't go, while she gave me the puppy dog face.
"P-lease I invented that," I sassed her while she huffed in annoyance.
"Fine," she whined.
"Hey, but who knows, 3rd year Uni could be a different story," I smiled at her telling her our 3rd year partey she could come. Abbie smiled at that.
"Yes!" She laughed.
"But," Charlie interrupted our sisterly moment, "you could help us get ready and we could tell you about it."
"Perfect idea, Char!" I exclaimed. Okay, I may not want her going but there's no reason she can't know about it! Plus she's a wizard with a make-up brush.
"Woop, woop!" Abbie hollered while we laughed. We began picking out our clothes and doing our make-up and hair. Sometime amongst all the laughing, shouting and screaming, Eva and Josie joined the partey and every now and then dad would come in and tell us to keep it down and when we heard his study door shut we would start laughing. Mum also came in, sometimes, just to give us tips or help or just talk. Mum was cool, everyone thought so. She wasn't your everyday classy mother, she had a spike and radiance about her that made her normal but she was classy as well.
Soon it was 6:30pm and we were both done. Of course, it wouldn't normally take that long but Josie wanted to do some make-up and, well, she's 8, what'd you expect. All of us were dressed up though, not just Charlie and I. We did everyone from mum to Josie.
Mum was dressed in a green, long, lacey dress. It was covered in roses and made her eyes pop. Her make-up was light blue eye shadow, mascara, eyeliner, pink lipstick and, finally, some blush. Her straight blonde ish hair out, tucked behind her ears. Mum wore her blue pumps but you couldn't really see them.
Abbie was wearing a white, short, ruffled dress. It completely suited her style, making her personality shine brighter than before. She wore barely any make-up just eyeliner, red lipstick and some blush. Her straight browny blonde hair out, sitting on her shoulders. She was also wearing black high heels that were designed to make it look like leaves were going up your legs.
Eva was wearing a white, knee length, bodycon dress. With a slit up the left side, going up to her mid thigh, her figure, long legs and beauty was easy to find. She had eyeliner, mascara, pink lipgloss and blush. Her blondey brown hair was pushed onto one side, resting over her right shoulder. She also wore nude heels with the dress.
Josie was wearing a purple, long, princess dress. With sparkles on the top and ruffles on the bottom making her dress poof out she really looked like the princesses she always wanted to be. We didn't want to ruin her skin with make-up so we only put red lip gloss and blush on her face. Her frizzy brown hair tied back, away from her face. She also wore purple ballet flats.
They all looked ready for a party or an evening meal, whether Charlie and I looked ready to go to the beach. We all walked down, we knew dad was their.
First down was Josie.
"Hello, Father," she greeted him. He looked up and smiled.
"And hello, to you to, Princess Joelie Aziza Day," my dad got up and was about to bow down but Josie jumped on him, "woah!" He chuckled.
Next Eva came running down.
"Oh, Father! Don't wear yourself out!" She exclaimed.
"Miss Eva Fiona Day, to what I owe the pleasure," dad bowed down, kissing Eva's hand, with Josie still on his hip.
Eva turned around and smirked at us from upstairs, "Told you he wouldn't mind!" She stuck out her tongue while Abbie floated down the stairs elegantly.
"Father, Eva, Josie," Abbie curtseyed. My dad's smile grew wider at the sight of Abbie.
"Don't you look gorgeous, Abigail," dad beamed.
"Oh, trust me, it's nothing compared to Mother," Abbie smirked and moved to the side. My dad's smile soon had a look of confusion spread across it, but then, mum came down the stairs just as dad turned his head. His mouth dropped open.
"Close your mouth, Chris, or you'll catch flies!" Mum laughed while we all giggled along. Dad set down Josie and walked towards mum.
"You look beautiful, darling," he smiled.
As they kissed we all said, 'Yuck!' At the same time unlike Eva who then went on and screamed, "MY EYES! MY BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL EYES! I'LL NEVER SEE AGAIN!"
"Alright, Eva, stop being melodramatic now!" Dad laughed.
"Phew," Eva whipped her head in fake relief while we all laughed at her dramatic self.I came down the stairs and dad looked at me and Charlie.
"How come you are not dressed like the rest?" He questioned.
"We are celebrating our results at the beach! We'll be gone for a few days on a holiday!" Charlie chirped before I could say anything.
"I don't want my daughter on the beach where strange men could-" dad started.
"Jack's coming, don't worry Father," I smiled warmly at him and he visibly relaxed.
"Oh, alright then," dad sighed. I went up to him and hugged him.
"I'm sorry for everything, Daddy," I whispered as I kissed his cheek.
"Me to, Sophia, me too," he kissed my forehead and we separated. I said my goodbye to everyone, but in style.
"So long, farewell, al vida sane, goodbye!" I began to sing.
"I'd hate to go and leave this pretty sight," Charlie finished.
"Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye, goodbye!" We both sang and left through the front door.
