Chapter 14

Autumn's POV

I was in my room with Niall watching a movie when I got the video from Darci.  My phone went off and I saw her name appear on my phone.  

"Come on let's go to the living room" I said when I opened the message and saw it was the video of her singing.  

We gathered the boys and I played it on my phone.  We all sat and listened.  She was so good and talented.   

I looked over at Harry and he seemed to be in pain.  He stared at the screen as if it was his one and only connection to her.  His eyes were full of lonliness and longing.  I felt so bad for him.  

When the video was over, I clicked my phone off.  I looked around at the boys.  Niall was looking at me then the boys then me then the boys.  Zayn was holding Nate who was now asleep.  Zayn was really good with Nate and Nate really liked Zayn.  Liam was looking at Harrry and Louis was too.  I looked at Harry.  He had tears rolling down his cheeks but he was smiling.

"What has gotten into you lad?" Louis said and I'm pretty sure he already knew what had gotten into Harry.

"She's amazing" Harry said.  His smile grew wider when he said that.  

"I'm going to go video call her and tell her how great she was" I said.  I stood up and the boys did too.  I turned around to look at them.

"Let's do it on the computer" Liam suggested.  "You know so we all can get in on the picture and talk to her."  

"That's a good idea Liam" I said.  We followed him to the computer and he told me to log on to Skype and I typed in her name.  I pressed call and we all waited. 

I was starting to think she wasn't going to answer.  Finally there was an answer and in a matter of seconds Darci's face appeared on the screen.  She looked as if she had just woken up.  Her hair was messy and the look on her face told us that she wasn't completely awake yet.  

"Hey Darci" I said.  

"Hey girlie" she said sounding more awake than she looked.  

"Hello Darci" Liam said.  

"Hello darling" Louis said in a flirty voice.

"Hi Darci" Zayn said as he waved to her.

"Hey Darci" Niall said.  

"Hello Darci" Harry said not really sure what to say.  I think this was pretty weird for him.  

"Hey guys.  How are you guys doing?" she asked.  

"We're good" Liam said and the boys nodded in agreement.  "How are you love?"

"I'm great.  A little tired from yesterday" she said. 

"I bet.  You did a really good job on your preformance.  It was amazing" I said and she smiled.

"Thank you.  I had so much fun.  My mom said she had something to tell me about my preformance but I just woke up so I haven't talked to her yet" she said.  

"Oh well I hope everything's ok" I said.  Darci started giggling and I wasn't really sure why.  What I said wasn't really all that funny.  She started to full on laugh.  I looked at Niall and Zayn who were sitting next to me.  I gave them a questioning look and they looked just as confused as me.

"What is so funny?" Niall asked.  I turned to look behind me and Louis was making weird faces.  He also was acting like he was eating Harry and Liam's faces.  

"Louis what are you doing?" I asked.  He stopped what he was doing and looked at me.  

"Nothing" he said.  I knew he was up to something.  I just ignored it.  I turned my attention back to Darci who had managed to stop laughing.  When that girl starts laughing sometimes she has a hard time stopping.  

"I really miss you guys" she said.  

"I miss you too" Louis said.  He then pointed to his eye and his heart then at Darci and he mouthed 'I Love You.'  Harry saw and he smacked Lou on the back of the head.  

"Ouch!" he said.  "What was that for?" 

Harry just rolled his eyes.  

Darci's attention was suddenly on something else.  She was looking over the camera at someone or something.  

"Darc, who are you talking to?" a woman said. 

"My friends" she said.  "Do you want to meet them?" 

"Sure!" the woman's voice said.  Suddenly a woman who resembled Darci appeared beside her.  

"Guys this is my mom" Darci said introducing the woman to us.  

"Hello" she said pleasently.  She was a lovley woman.  

"This is my friend Autumn." Darci said.  I waved to the woman and she waved back.

"Then that is Niall, Liam, Louis, Zayn, and Harry" She said.  The boys waved to Darci's mom and she waved back.

"It's very nice to meet you" she said with a smile.  She then turned to Darci.  

"Darci, your dad and I have something we need to talk to you about" she said.  

"Um ok.  I'll talk to you guys later" she said as she turned to us.  She had a confused look on her face.  She looked a little worried too.

"Ok Bye" I said and the boys yelled their goodbyes too.  I shut the computer and I looked at my phone.  I saw that there was a text from Darci.  I opened it and was a little suprised by the message.  

'I'm scared.  My mom has never been this serious before.'   I hadn't known Darci long but it takes a lot to scare her.  She gets a little jumpy somtimes but thats different.  The night of Harry's fight, she didn't seem scared at all and when we talked about it she said she wasn't scared.  

'Don't worry.  Everything will be ok' I replied.  I really hope everything was going to be ok.
