(Cathay)

I walked out of the bathroom with a fluffy blue towel wrapped around me and the clothes in my hand. Jordie was trying to fix the shower curtain while I got dressed in the bedroom. I turned on the rooms' lights and turned on the TV.

I glanced around the room. It was the first time I had seen it with lighting while not being super exhausted and ready to pass out. There was a bookshelf filled with video games, dresser holding his clothes and his bed. I walked over to his dresser. There were picture frames. Most of them included him and me or him and some guy friend. There was one that faced flat towards the wooden surface like he didn't want to see it. I ran my fingers across the smooth steel of the frame and glances quickly at the bathroom door. It was still closed so I flipped the picture over.

It was Jordie and some other girl. Their arms were wrapped around each other and she was kissing his cheek. Another girl? He's cheating?

Well, I guess we never agreed we were dating but we just had sex! He would be cheating on her. Guilt filled my chest but right beside it was jealousy. I placed my face in my hands hiding.

I heard Jordie open the bathroom door and shout,

"It's a miracle! "

I'm guessing he got it back up but right now honestly I could care less. I slammed the photo back down and couldn't help it. A sob bursted from my mouth and my chest shook. I wiped my tears over and over shouting at him.

" Why did you tell me? We could have been friends. I wouldn't have liked it but I could deal with it. You can't just mess with a girls feelings like this! Cheater. "

I was backing away from him cussing and swinging my fists. He tried to wrap his arms around me but I wouldn't let him get any closer.

" Don't touch me you filthy heartbreaker!"

He was so confused it would be funny if I was so pissed off and upset right now. He shouted over me,

"Cathay! What are you talking about?"

I yanked the picture off the desk screaming,

"Well for starters, who the hell is this?"

He shook his head,

"Oh this is a big misunderstanding."

I laughed cause I couldn't believe it,

"Oh really? What are you going to say to fix this one Jordan? She's your cousin? Well, it's not going to work because I'm not as stupid as you think..."

He interrupted me with a smirk,

"I beg to differ... "

Did he just call me stupid? This guy totally needs to work on problem solving. If a girl is screaming her lungs at you you simply do not just insult her.

I started yelling again and he interrupted,

" You never let me finish!"

He was furious now that I wouldn't hear him out. He said in a frightening threatening voice,

"Sit. "

I sat on the bed keeping my mouth shut. I was shocked. I don't think I have ever seen him so serious. Even when we argued he would find a way to make me laugh. Jordie sighed,

"Okay, so I haven't been completely far. I haven't opened up when you have. I just had this sickening feeling you would Judge me like I judged you. The girl in the picture is Emily. Emily was my friend and we progressed into something a little more. Unfortunately, she got cancer and I had to let her go. She passed away but do I have no right to miss her? "

I nodded and he continued,

" No I don't because some person, girl, I happen to know gets jealous. "

I blushed and covered his face with my feet. He laughed and kept talking,
" Scar, by now you should know your the only one I want."

Jordie removed my feet and crawled closer across the bed. He kissed me soft and sweet.

"Promise not to be so jealous?"

I laughed and shook my head,

"You wish for the impossible, Jordie."
