Chapter 1 [The Meeting]

Ranboos POV:

It was a Thursday morning and I was hanging out with one of my bestfriends, Tubbo. We were walking around the city after school trying to get our minds off of the stressful work we had to do. "Yk, It Kinda sucks that we have to do a project for the next few weeks. I was planing on just relaxing over the break." Tubbo said, with a slight annoyance in his voice. "Well yeah I know but atleast it's not that big, we only have to read a book about somethin' and draw a picture about a scene in it I guess." I replied trying to get him to be a bit less annoyed. "Well that's easy for you to say, you're like the smartest kid in class. People probably see us as the cool kid and the nerd." We both let out a laugh and continued walking down the sidewalk

We both walked in a comfortable silence for about 5 minutes when Tubbo finally spoke up. "Do you wanna go to this coffee shop that just opened? It's like right around the corner to your house." "Uh..Yeah sure, I don't see why not. I'm getting quite thirsty anyways." I chuckled a bit while Tubbo grabbed my hand and began walking us to its direction. "One of my friends that I've recently met at school works there actually, I think you'll get along well!" Tubbo added on as he started to speed walk, I quickly followed him trying to get out of his grip since he was basically dragging me at this point. A few minutes passed and we finally arrived, It had a large bold sign hung above the front door reading Tom's Café.

Tommy's POV:

I was working at the counter today, it was boring just like it always has been. I've always been getting the boring jobs like working at the counter or washing the dishes even though the place literally has my name in its name. It was actually run by my father Phil, He always says that because he was the oldest out of the family he would be in charge, then my brothers Techno(blade) and Wilbur, and then me. I've always had less attention than the rest, I'm not sure why though.

I was lost in thought when I suddenly heard the bell at the door ring, I looked up and saw my friend Tubbo standing at the door, but he was with someone else. The person Tubbo was with was very tall, way taller than him, they had cinnamon brown, curly hair and wore a black and white mask with sunglasses. I wasn't able to see Their whole face, but dam they looked nice. "Uh.. Tommy? Helllooo??? Earth to Tommy?? You there??" Tubbo said while waving his hand in front of my face. "I- Uh- Oh- Hi Tubbo, sorry I was zoned out. What can I get 'cha?" I stuttered a little bit as I was caught off guard, "I wanted to introduce you to my friend, their called Ranboo, and Ranboo, This is Tommy! I think you guys will get along well, especially because of the way you guys looked at eachother just now." Tubbo Laughed a bit then looked at both of us, I could feel my face heating up so I quickly looked down so they wouldn't notice.

Tubbo's POV:

I smirked at the both of them and could see them both turning a bit red, yes Ranboo did have a mask but it didn't really hide it, I could easily tell he was blushing. "O- Oh shut up Tubbo. I literally just met him." Ranboo said, stuttering a little bit. "Right right. Anyways, Can I order now? I want a drink." I chuckled a bit at the end, Tommy then looked up and got the notes ready to write down the orders. "Mhhm.. okay what would you like you 2?" He asked, "Can I get a normal cup of tea please?" I asked, "and ill just get a black coffee." Ranboo continued. "Mhmm.. Yup! That'll be 5.99 please." Tommy said with a smile. I handed him the money then Ranboo and I went to sit at the far side next to the window.

Ranboo's POV:

Me and Tubbo went to sit down by the window at the back of the cafe, when we sat down I looked straight into his eyes. "Did you really have to do that, Tubbo? I mean yeah he's pretty and all but really?" I asked him with a bit of annoyance in the mix. "Oh come on Boo, I know you liked it, I saw the blush fade to a deep red under that mask~" He said as he gave me another smirk. At this point I was a blushing mess. I could've sworn it wasn't that hot a minute ago? "Say, you wanna get his number? I've got it if you want to." "Uh.. Ye-..No-.. Mayb-.. I Don-.." I was stuttering a lot. I was way to flustered to really speak.
This was the perfect opportunity for Tubbo to start mocking me. " Alright, Alright, I get it, You like him. Now calm down and give me your phone, I'll give you his number." He took my phone off the table top and turned both mine and his phone on. After about a minute he gave me my phone back and I immediately went onto contacts, turns out he did give me Tommy's number, but put his contact name as
Toms <3
