sam winchester was a strong brave man who would do anything for the ones he loved, but that doesn't mean that he doesn't have a soft side. i was the only one who got to see it though. it was always at the end of the night, he gets into bed and as i'm brushing my teeth i see the look on his face.
"what's wrong bub?" i ask once i finish brushing my teeth "nothing just thinking" he says shrugging so i crawl into bed behind him and he lays his head in my lap "do you wanna talk about it?" i ask before running my hands through his hair "it's the same as always i wish you know that i wasn't raised into this life you and i could have an apple pie life where we raise a family together we host christmas and dean would come over with lisa we would all be happy" he says "hun..i don't need some apple pie life to be happy with you do i wish the threat of impending doom wasn't constantly over our heads? yeah but if i've got to deal with that to be able to have you and dean in my life i would do it everyday until i die" i say to him before he sits up and pulls me onto his lap and wraps his arms around me tightly
"i am so lucky to be able to call you mine" he says planting a kiss on my lips "as am i now are we ready for bed?" i ask "i am now thank you" he says laying us down then we get comfortable before drifting off to sleep not worrying for a moment about tomorrow potential dangers
