fundy then met with Eret, who caught him up. And along the way, he met many people. Most who..... he doesn't remember. That one person, Ranboo? He seemed so taken aback and....sad, when Fundy just asked for his name because he doesn't remember anything.

Then he met two teens, who Eret told him were Tommy and Tubbo. Tommy seemed shocked to see him, and a bit guilty. (Why? He.... he remembered nothing...) While Tubbo looked half angered half joyful. Fundy watched in confusion as he told them he doesn't know who they are as they suddenly became sad. And... this Tubbo person, looked to be crying?

Did he know them?

Did they know him?

He doesn't know, and he decided, that if his memory of them were gone, then maybe...

Maybe it's best he doesn't...

Everyone had different reactions. Phil looked tired and when Fundy greeted him and introduced himself because, why not, Phil looked like he was about to cry. Phil actually didn't, but he felt like something punched him in the chest.

Ghostbur... acted like that too, Phil remembered with a pang in his chest, something clawing at his heart, he then knew that Fundy had forgotten everything, the good, the bad, all erased together. But at least Ghostbur remembered something...

Ah, even after the Butcher Army debacle, which he knew and remembered his grandson's quick apology, (he should've known that whatever the case, Fundy wasn't the one in charge or the one issuing orders. He was just... following them...), he never got to reconcile with the fox...

Technoblade just didn't seem to mind much, and was happy to get to know Fundy (In Techno's case, he understood why the fox would forget certain memories and people and wanted to make amends with Wilbur's son, Wilbur, who was considered as a brother to him) and Fundy was happy that someone was normal apart from Eret.

Eret was happy to see their pseudo-son (all short of an official adoption) so carefree, cheerful. The last they remembered the fox acting like this was so, so long ago, far before Lmanburg.

Fundy, on the other hand though happy to meet all the new people, was a bit confused.

Was he supposed to know them?

He wasn't, right?

Eret reassured him that it wasn't his fault ("It's never your fault and it'll never be your fault, Fungi.") and the whole situation just slipped from his mind.

("Fundy."

"That's my name, yes. Hello, yes. And who are you?"

"You... wait you don't remember me?"

"...Should I?"

"Do you, do you remember Doomsday? Do you remember the button by the tree? Do you remember you letting me astral project?!?! Do you remember the ice cream shop?!?!?!" He sounded more and more agitated. Fundy was confused, why? He doesn't even know him? So why?
