Ice the 6 moon old tom scampered to his mother a mouthfull of kittypet food. His mother lay on leaves, Ice could barely hear her breathing. "Mother! Your not dead, are you!"
"No, not yet Ice" The croaky purr of his mother came out.
"Thank the gods" Ice smiled, "I got some food!"
"Thank you dear.." Her eyes where dull with sickness, "Ice, i have something to tell you"
"What is it, mother"
"I need you to go somewhere, so you'll be safe" Her breathing was shallow, it scared Ice like many things did.
"Where mother, ill go anywhere for you, to get herbs, to find help, even get twolegs for you" he squeaked.
"I need you to go to thunderclan" Her glossy white fur made her eyes even more serious.
"WHAT!?"
"Your father lives there, in the forest down there" She flicked her tail toward the wood.
"But mother i have never gone there myself!"
"Just go, your father is a grey cat named ShadeWalker, and his leader, MudStar Is very kind i would have been in thunderclan if i hadnt refused to join, Not many cats may like your father but you will make him the most popular cat in the clan"
"Yes mother," Ice couldnt refuse her mother.
