~~~~~ 3rd Person POV ~~~~~
     Three girls do some flips and turns before jumping into the air, eventually landing on a large pad in a gymnasium. The blond in a pink jumpsuit highfives the other girls behind her, complementing, "Sweet, Renee" to the ravenette in blue and "Awesome, Teresa" to the brunette in purple.
     In the bleachers, a small blonde girl yells, "Hi, Barbie!"
     The blonde girl in pink waves back and yells, "Hey, Chelsea!"
     Chelsea proudly turns to another woman sitting in the bleachers and comments, "That's my sister."
     The brunette girl next to Chelsea cheers, "You rock, Teresa. Whoo-hoo!"
     Teresa softly smiled back and replied, "Thanks, Mila."
     An older woman sitting next to the two little girls shouts, "You go, Renee! Go, girl! Ha, ha. Oh, yeah."
     "Thanks, Aunt Zoe!" Renee shouts back.
     "It's so sweet that she came," Teresa commented. "Actually, has she ever missed a meet?"
     "Uh, probably not," Renee responded. "Other than watching TV and knitting, I don't think she has much going on." In the stands, Aunt Zoe held up the small cat sweater that she was working on with an exaggerated wink and a nod. This caused Renee and Teresa to chuckle.
     Suddenly, there was a voice over the intercom that said "Athletes, take your places. The competition will begin momentarily."
     Barbie nervously looked down before noticing Chelsea and Mila cheering for them.
     "Um," Barbie started as she turned to Renee and Teresa, "but I'm not ready yet. I wanna practice one more time, real quick."
     "Relax," Renee comforted her, "you'll be great."
     As they walked over to the bench where all their stuff was at, the same voice from earlier came over the intercom again.
     "Ladies and gentlemen, these are the golden cup championship qualifying trials."
     Barbie's eyes drifted across the gymnasium before they finally landed on a brunette girl in a light blue suit. Another girl was setting up a springboard for her, but the brunette waved her off. At first, Barbie looked over to her friends, confused. However, Barbie's eyes grew wide in awe and blush flooded her cheeks as the brunette did a series of complicated flips and tricks. They turn to look at the scoreboard, which reveals her score to be a 9.98. Barbie finally snaps out of her daze when Teresa said, "Wow, Patricia just raised the bar."
     "You know what that means." Barbie responded as she looked over to Renee.
     "Time to bring our A game." she said as she bumped shoulders with Barbie.
     Together they agree to do Pandora's Pyramid and put all their hands together.
~~~ Time Skip ~~~

     All the girls stand with their backs together and hula hoops in their hands as they prepare for their stunt. Once the music starts, all the girls walk forward, spinning their hula hoops on their arms. The girls begin to do tricks such as twirling the hoops and their bodies, throwing the hoops up in the air, and spinning them on different parts of their bodies. They meet in the middle again, throwing the hoops to spread out. Renee nods towards Teresa, who nods back. They throw the hoops towards the other and start running as Barbie spins with her hoop. Teresa and Renee spring off the ground and flip past each other, catching their hoops and turning so they were side by side. Barbie finishes spinning behind them, and nervously stares off into the crowd.

     Her staring is interrupted when she hears Chelsea and Mila cheering for her. Renee and Teresa turn back to look at her, wondering why she isn't doing the next part of the routine. 'Get it together, Barbie.' She thinks to herself, before doing her next part in the routine. She throws her hoop up in the air and starts running into a set of cartwheels and flips. Then she launches herself into the air, hearing Chelsea and Mila cheering again as she comes down to land on Teresa and Renee's shoulders. When she goes to land, she fumbles and falls onto the ground in front of them, her hula hoop hitting her as well.
