Chapter 24

The time has come that I need to travel to Japan since it's already Tanabata Festival and I need to book a ticket for the four of eyes.

"Guys, paano 'yan? ubusan 'yong ticket since maraming pumunta sa Japan ngayon. May isang ticket dito pero one week ahead pa sa mismong araw ng festival,"

Oh, yes. We're currently here in Manila discussing what will be the plan since ubusan 'yong ticket.

"Let's book that ticket which is one week away from the festival," I said because I thought it will just solve the problem.

"Yes we can but there's also that day before the festival but there's only four slot left. Hindi naman pwedeng may isa na maiiwan sa atin at isa pa, 'yong unang ticket na nabanggit ko, sa Tokyo 'yon. Ang layo sa amin," Julia sounds worried with the availability of the ticket.

We made travel rules and goals kasi kaya sila ganyan. Dapat sabay-sabay kami sa pagbyahe at walang maiiwan pero kasi iba ang sitwasyon ngayon. Kailangan may isa sa amin na mauna which is sa Tokyo.

"Ayoko sa Tokyo, hindi pa nakapunta doon," Justin said.

"Paano nalang kaya ako? lagi lang kaming sa Osaka," Bianca.

"Oh come on, same as me! Osaka at Yokohama lang rin" Lauren said.

Wait, I think I'll just go there first since I'm a big a fan of anime and maybe there's a lot of stuff there to buy to satisfy myself with my fangirling. Since ako lang naman ang nakapunta na doon sa lugar na 'yon kaya ako nalang muna siguro 'yong mauna.

"I'll do it since I've been there in Tokyo a couple of times," sabi ko at kunot noo silang tumingin sa'kin.

"Ano? hindi pwede! ikaw lang mag isa," nag aalalang sabi ni Julia.

"Oo nga, Veronica. Magagawan pa naman siguro ng paraan ng airport 'to,"

"Ako natatakot para sa'yo, first time mo kayang ikaw lang mag isa sa Japan. Last year, kasama mo naman kami lagi,"

"Nah, I'm fine. I'll book a hotel right now in Tokyo so, just book the ticket. Hindi ako maliligaw, don't worry," I said as calm as possible for her not to get worry.

I get my phone and scanned a nice place to stay in Tokyo. It's my first time traveling alone in Japan specifically in Tokyo. It's either being with friends or with my family. I just wanted to do this alone for the first time because I have to take some risks now.

"Sigurado ka ba talaga?" Julia asked me again.

"Oo nga, sige na, avail mo na 'yong ticket. I'll stay in Tokyo for a week, I already booked a hotel," I showed them my phone that I already booked a hotel kaya kinuha nalang ni Julia 'yong ticket.

"I booked a hotel near the airport. Don't worry, I know what to do. Now, let me pack my things," I started packing my things making them fit in one bag pack.

Julia has plenty of clothes in their house in Japan so I don't need to bring a lot of clothes but the undies will be a lot. Nakalimutan kung sabihin na nasa bahay pala silang apat at nasa kwarto ko.

I'm kinda bit excited because it's my first time travelling alone na wala ang mga kaibigan ko. Of course, it's always been fun with them in traveling but I'm also excited to travel alone overseas.

They are all keep on asking me kung sigurado ba daw talaga ako sa gusto kong mangyari kasi delikado daw. They're that worried and I understand, it's just that situation is different now since may problema sa slot.

I can't miss the festival. It's already like a tradition for me because I always go there every year.

Even when they go home talagang chat sila ng chat sa'kin. Parang tanga 'tong mga 'to. Ginagawa naman akong bata. I told them that I'm totally fine with my decision kaya hindi na sila nagkulit pa.
