01: CITY OF EUPHORIA

Moving from Seoul to Busan's City of Euphoria, I get off the bus, dragging my suitcase behind me. You're probably wondering why I left Seoul when there are so many opportunities there. Let's just say I've always wanted to try new things, and this was the perfect place to start. I looked around and noticed old-fashioned buildings and attractive types of houses, as well as the fact that there aren't many people here; you can even count the people around you. I shrugged off the strange sensation and began walking to my apartment, which I had found for myself. While walking, I took in my surroundings, marvelling at the unique design, but then a red light caught my eye, and as I looked over, I noticed a building labelled Norowareta Apartment... That is where I will stay!!!

She dashed to the beautiful apartment, only to be greeted by the gloomy face of an elderly woman. Her genuine smile gradually fades into an awkward one. She shifted her weight from one leg to the other, feeling the awkwardness that surrounded them. The elderly lady spoke up, making the situation less awkward.

"You must be the new girl who is going to move here, aren't you?" the old lady asks, a judging expression on her face.

"Y-yes..." I say, lowering my head, anxious by her appearance.

"Come with me so I can show you your room..." she said as she walked away.

I quickly follow her when she is slightly out of my sight, running so fast that I can walk alongside her. We then enter the elevator to the 13th floor, and when we arrive at our destination, we exit and walk again. We eventually found ourselves in front of a door, room 9701.

"This will be your apartment, and here is your key," she said, handing me two keys, which I gratefully accepted with a bow. "You can now look around your room, and if you have any problems, please don't hesitate to get in touch with me so I can assist you; I'll leave now..." she added, placing both hands on her back.

"Yes, thank you. Goodbye and have a wonderful day." I said, bowing once more as she walked away.

Okay!!! This is it, Y/n; let us begin our new lives here! Right now!

When Y/n opens the door, she is greeted by a dark, dusty living room.

... There are so many things that need to be finished Y/n, so we should get started right away!!!

She drags her suitcase inside the apartment before closing the door, rolling up her sleeves. She then walks to the basement to try to find some tools for cleaning. She saw a vacuum, duster, sponge, cleaning supplies such as soap, cleaning cloth, squeegee, spray cleaner, and a floor mop with a bucket when she opened the door. The doorbell rang before she could even grab the equipment. As she walks towards the door, she opens it and encounters a renovation worker. The guy flashes a deep dimple at her when he smiles, he has tan skin With a thin almond eye and brown hair.

"Hello Ma'am, I work at Renovation Center; would you like us to get your stuff up here?" he asks politely, his head slightly tilted cutely.

"Yes, please," I replied kindly with a smile, and he nodded.

Her living room soon had boxes on the floor.

"You just sign here, here, and here, and we're done," he said, pointing to the paper he was holding before smiling at her.

"Hmm, okay... Thank you, sir." I said as I finished signing and handing him the paper...

"Thank you, Ma'am, and have a nice day," he said before bowing to me.

"Thank you and you too." I thanked him before closing the door as he walked away.

What a sweetheart, but now that I think about it. There's something strange about him, his eyes seem lifeless.
