"I swear to God; I didn't do it! I swear!" she said while the police arrested her and carried her to the car. She couldn't believe that she was placed in this position, she knew with all her heart that she didn't do it, but she would have a hard time proving it since she knew the person who did it was capable of anything.
She came from a middle-class family. They were neither poor nor rich; they had what they needed and wanted, they showed love and support to each other, through the good, bad and ugly. There was another girl who came from a poor, single-parent family; the mom always had many "friends" over, getting beaten, stealing from stores, skipping school, she has faced hell and back. The two girls have very different personalities and grew up in different worlds, but they soon will meet in each other's lives and their meeting each other will change for the rest of their lives. Their names are Makena and the other is Saanvi.
