Light and Dark | Chapter 17

Kris woke up and checked their wing, the hole was gone but the feathers were still missing and there was a wound. Kris just sighed and looked at the sleeping prince in front of them, Kris kissed him on the head and he slowly opened his eyes.

Ralsei: Hmm... good morning my angel... how's the wing?

Kris: Healed, but still a wound and no feathers.

Ralsei: Good... no more blood...

Kris: Shouldn't take long for them to grow back.

Ralsei: Good... your feathers are very beautiful... wouldn't want any gone... but what are we doing today?

Kris: I thought we were going up to the light world again, so you can see what it's like when it's light.

Ralsei: Hmm... yay... can we spend all day up there?

Kris: Yeah, and I want to find out who shot me.

Ralsei: So do I...

Kris: Just don't try to hurt them, I'm sure it was a mistake.

Ralsei: I'll try...

Kris: Do you want to get up now?

Ralsei: No... more cuddles...

Kris: Hehehe, of course, lots of cuddles for my little prince.

They cuddled into each other and Kris enjoyed the feeling of the fluffy prince on them, and once they were both satisfied Ralsei stopped and Kris stopped as well. Kris got out of bed and decided to have a shower as they hadn't had one for a while and they needed to clean their feathers.

Once they were done they dried off and went to get their breakfast (after getting dressed of course). They got their breakfast and once Kris and Ralsei were both ready they went up to the light world again. Ralsei was instantly blinded by the bright light, but as soon as his eyes got used to it they walked out of the school.

Ralsei: Wow! It even is more beautiful in the light! Is that the sun?

Kris: Yeah, and don't look at it directly, you'll go blind.

Ralsei: But it's miles away.

Kris: I know, but it's still super bright, so don't look at it.

Ralsei: Oh, ok. Can you fly now?

Kris: I'll give it a try.

Kris tried to fly, but when they only got a few feet off the ground they fell back down and Ralsei cought them.

Ralsei: I got you, don't worry.

Kris: Thanks, and it seems that bullet really did a number on me.

Ralsei: Yeah, well we'll find the person who shot you, and try not to fly.

Kris: It's fine, it doesn't hurt, it'll probably be fine at the end of the day.

Ralsei: Ok, I trust you, should we go now?

Kris: Yep! Hold hands?

Ralsei: Of course! I would always like to!

Kris held Ralsei's paw and he smiled at them, they started to walk into the town while Ralsei looked around at the amazing nature next to them. They reached the town and everyone was delighted to see Rudy and Asgore back, Kris just smiled and Ralsei kissed them on the cheek. They walked further into the town and Kris showed Ralsei again but in the light, Noelle was with Rudy and once she saw Kris she ran up to them and hugged them.
