Narrator's POV

All the people in the house went on with their business for the day. Seungcheol along with Joshua, Soonyoung and Jihoon took care of the usual which is their front hotel business. Jeonghan went on his way to attend his scheduled taping whilst Wonwoo takes care of things in his clinic.

Lastly, Junhui and Nari went to the country house which Seungcheol did permit by lending the duplicate key to Junhui. "I think it would be fun to go skeet shooting right after mastering the mechanics here," Nari commented right after firing multiple shots on the target.

"Agree, there's tons of places here offering that activity," Junhui responded as he began to load up his gun again.

   "Yeah, let's go next time,"

"Well, how about tomorrow?!" Nari excitedly offered with a grin.

"That's impossible, I have to attend a party,"

"Wait, what. A—" Nari was cut off by the loud shot that was fired.

   "—party?"

Junhui have put down the gun and turned towards her before nodding his head. "Yes,"

Nari plastered a confuse and astound expression which made Junhui chuckled, saying. "Little red, we also have social lives. We're not that similar as to what the society deemed us to be," Nari was about to respond, but he spoke soon.

"It's actually a highschool reunion. Seungcheol, Wonwoo and I are gonna attend since the three of us attended the same academy,"

"Wouldn't mind having a plus one," he mischievously added as a joke, but then Nari thought about it.

There's only one thought running through her head right now which made her smirk and act in such impulsive manner. "Okay sure! I'll be your plus one for tomorrow,"

Junhui turned to her with widened eyes. "Really? I was just joking about that, but--"

Nari arrogantly smiled and nodded her head. "Yep for real. I'll be your partner for the night,"

"Uhm okay, That's awesome! The party's six tomorrow,"

I am very much looking forward for Seungcheol's reaction if he finds out that I'm Junhui's partner for tomorrow; it'd be fun to mess up with his head a bit. - she thought to herself.

"It's been pretty hectic, anyways," Seungcheol responded as he poured whiskey on the two glass. He made his way to the sofa where he sat, across the chief justice Kim Yunrae, whom he offered a glass of whiskey.

"Just so you know, you better keep an eye on Jung Hyunsuk," Seungcheol's ears perked up upon hearing the old woman's words.

The old woman in her 50s, wore a suit. Face that plastered stern expression along with the wrinkles and lines on her face. "I've been hearing quite a few things from the media about that guy," she added.

"Manipulation, bribery. Oh, how pathetic," she chuckled as she shook her head.

"What's your business with that guy? Heard, he's just a mere man who runs an independent, private law firm," Seungcheol reciprocated as he wanted to know on why the old lady suddenly bought up a topic about a specific man.
