There I was, walking back home. whilst I walked through the wintered thick cold forrest, I pondered: I've conquered all of the strongest trainers in Kanto, its ok to take a small hiatus, right?

I thought of the journey me and my Charizard endured. we took down a team of villains, trained to the point of breaking our boundaries, and even proved my worth to many. after four years of traveling, I can now rest. I see the white fences that bordered the town in the distance. the slow breeze came to a halt. snow covered an old wooden sign. I brushed it off and revealed "pallet town" engraved into it.

     Finally, I was home.

I walked in the path I used to shovel many winters ago. it seems like someone decided to do it for me while I was gone. I look to my right and see my house, in the same condition as I left it. and to me left, is BLUE's house. I would be lying if I said I didn't miss him. he was my rival, and may have bullied me, but we were friends...GOOD friends. I stopped and admired the quiet snowfall as I mentally prepared for my Mom's choking hugs.

The house was warm and brightly lit up. RED's mother was relaxing at the kitchen table reading a book while sipping on some Hot CoCoa. the fire place crackled, when all of a sudden there were three knocks at the door.

"who could that be? no one called saying they'd stop by." she questioned as she closed her bookmark in her book. she stood up and opened the door. "Hello-"

she gazed at her son, who was seemingly older. "Hi Mom...I'm finally home."

The mug hit the floor as she screamed and leaped for a hug. "My baby boy has come back after three years! its so good to see you I've been so lonely!"
