One Last Ride... (A fast and furious fanfic)

Trust!!

I wake up to a loud scream. It was midnight, well practically midnight... It was 00:05. I could hear Jack screaming.
"DADDY... Help me." He was saying.
I pushed Brian and he woke.
"Jack's calling." I told him.
"Again... Mia I really think we need to get this sorted. It's not right!" He told me but I didn't want to believe it. My son was normal, there was nothing wrong with him.
Brian ran into the room and lifted Jack out of his bed. He rubbed his fingers through his sweaty blonde hair.
"Hey... Hey it's okay! I'm here now. Everything's gonna be just fine." Brian told him. I got out of bed and stood in the doorway of Jack's bedroom. I could see the fear in his eyes. He wasn't telling us something and I was gonna find out what it was.
I walker downstairs and poured myself a glass of milk. Brian came down and wrapped his arms tightly around my waist.
"Everything's gonna be alright you know." He told me but I knew that he didn't believe a word of it. "Mia I think we should take him to get checked. I've searched it up its a easy procedure, nothing will happen to him."
I pushed Brian away grabbed my glass and walked off. Brian grabbed my wrist "Mia c'mon you're kidding yourself! We can't carry on like this! I get it you care for him..." He was saying in fury but I stopped him mid sentence.
"I don't care for him Brian! I wouldn't call it that! I would die for him, Take a bullet for him. I would go to the end of the earth to protect him and I'm not gonna have strangers prodding him with needles! I don't trust them!" I told him standing my ground!
"You don't have to trust them! You just have to trust me!" He said and wiped a tear from my eye. He pulled my head to his shoulder and comforted me...
