"Miss Peyton, do you want to maybe say something few about yourself? It can be a good start for your new year," Miss Gavin said as she sat across me, her head slightly tilted to the side making her beautiful blonde hair, flowing its way down.

She's really beautiful and in just a few span of time, I kind think that she's already my favorite. She's the coach for the photography club which I just joined in just— a minute ago. Now i sat still on a single chair surrounded by friendly looking people with the beautiful polaroids on the walls that served as the design of the room. Its actually nice, the room's theme is vintage just like my bedroom. Gripping my camera's band that hanging on my neck, I flashed a smile before standing up and gazing around them with their expectant look.

Well, I'm nervous, you cant blame me since this will be my first ever public speech. Uh, not really public-public since there are only nine of us including Miss Gavin. But i need to so i did. Besides, i just told them some things that there is to be said. Like my full name and that I was homeschooled ever since forever, same things that I've said throughout my first half of the day. And then there came the questions;

"Why did you chose our club?"

And I answered politely, "Because its photography and photography is my passion. Even if I cant really go out of the house, all the time, I still tend to capture beautiful sceneries every time i go out. Its just something special for me, the essence of it simply capturing the best part of earth and nature. It enables us to freeze something and just look at that picture and continously be amazed with it by staring at it without any changes."

I know right, even I, myself is pretty shocked with what just came out from my mouth. But, at least I made them nod in agreement as they all flashed me welcoming smiles. So this is what it feels like when you impress people, make some friends and do something you really want. It feels like something within me is blooming and I like it.

For the past 30 minutes that I was inside that room, all we did was discuss some future subjects and activities. Its really comfortable to be with some people who shares the same interest as you, superb. At that time I forgot everything that's happening and had happened. We exchanged ideas, tips and advices while we talked over a box of cupcake that Miss Gavin brought to welcome the new school year. And as soon as were over, I thanked them for the kindness and startes my way out to the hallway.

I wonder what Gran and Mama are doing now, in our usual days, they usually just chill inside the house. Gran gets to tend her plants in our backyard and Mama does the house chores with Grace, our sole housekeeper. While thinking about those stuffs, I pulled my bag to my front and got out the book that I borrowed from the town library. Its a novel about this two souls that's very much alike to yin and yang. I opened its hardcover and flipped through the pages, searching for the page in where I stopped reading earlier. Flipping through it softly, i suddently came into a halt when I neared a door where a beautiful voice sounds from in it. Eliza. Peeking through the small glass window on the door, I spotted my dearest cousin, she's standing on the centre of the room as she sang her heart out while people surrounds her in a circular form.

I believe that she's singing one of the classical songs that she once sang to me some days ago. I held my book to my body as I wrapped my arms around it, i was too much engulfed with Eliza's voice that I didn't notice that I'm blocking someone.

"Excuse me, if you will, I'd like to get in because I'm literally late."a soft but boyish voice sounded behind that instantly caused me to jolt away from the door. Glancing at the intruder, he flashed me a smile while his hand reached out for the knob. "I'm sorry if I startled you but I'm really later," the guy said before disappearing behind the doors.
