Chapter 8

Salvatore Boarding House
Third Person POV:

Damon pulls up to the house's driveway, finally seeing that the fans are a bit far, "Listen, we have to get out and go in quickly; they'll catch up and find the house if we don't move quickly." He tells them. They all nod and quickly begin getting out and walking inside quickly. As they get inside you hear the screams come from outside meaning they've caught up. "My god is it always this bad when you're caught?" Damon asks them. "Pretty much, but it's usually more fans but since it is early not a lot of them are here." Namjoon responds. "Well it seems like they'll be there for a while, maybe you guys wanna rest in the meantime, it was a long flight, you're all probably tired, we have some extra rooms upstairs if you'd like to rest, go ahead." Damon tells them. "Thank you very much. We will." Namjoon tells them. They all then leave, except Jungkook who was checking something on his phone sitting in the parlor, Damon had left to help them into the rooms so it was only him and Stefan left. "So you've ever been to Mystic Falls?" Stefan asks him carefully. Jungkook looks at him surprised, "Well only once a few years back when I was still a trainee. Since then I haven't really come back." "Oh okay, that's nice. It's a small town, not much to say about it." Stefan tells him as he chuckles. Jungkook was smiling at him, having missed his laugh, it was still the most loving sound. "Have you lived here all your life?" Jungkook asked him even though he knew the real answer. "Uhm, yeah pretty much, but I've traveled some so that's that." "Oh that's good to hear, I've been to many parts of the world thanks to what I do. And coming here was an honor to help those in need." He tells him fondly. "That's great, it must be awesome. What you do is truly an amazing thing." "It is." They both just stay quiet and stare at each other when Stefan drops what was in his hand that he was putting away earlier; his journal. "Oh you like writing?" Jungkook asks him interested. "I do. It's one of the only refreshing things I do in my life." He tells him sadly. "Oh, okay, well I do too. I like to write about certain things I experience and it inspires lyrics for new songs. Sometimes I think there are others who seek the same comfort I do at times." Jungkook tells him as he thought about it. Stefan looked at him in wonder and respect as he talked. "That's really great. I mostly just write about how sometimes your past experiences in love can affect your present. I'm not as easily perceptive when it comes to love. You guys seem to get motivation from it in your songs right? I've heard a few." He finishes telling him. Shocking Jungkook who was fondly looking at him. "In a way yes, to the love you may be talking about no, but the love we've seen from our fans as well as we've seen in others is what also leads to it. Thank you for hearing some of them." Jungkook tells him and thanks him. "We've never been in a relationship before either so motivation just comes somehow. Jungkook tells him chuckling. That surprises Stefan, "None of you have dated before?! How?" "Being in the position we are in and the life we now have it's not easy, it's hard to even meet someone in that way. We are always busy, practicing, composing, producing and doing other promotions and entertainment for our fans. It's basically impossible." He tells him as he just smiles chuckling slightly at a very shocked Stefan. "It really shocked me. I mean you guys are not one bit of ugly, so I thought you would have. But hey, one day you'll find the one I'm sure." He tells him, smiling at him in assurance. They both just agree in silence neither saying anything for a few seconds and when Stefan goes to speak again the rest of the guys come in. "Kook, management just called, they have the house ready, we gotta get going so we can rest a bit before we get busy tomorrow morning. Tonight once things calm down we can go into town and tour." Joon tells him as he nods in understanding. "Well let's go, right now things are quiet. House aint far from here ." Damon tells them, as they all get ready to leave. They had 2 cars now so it was easy to move them now.

Some time passed and they were all settled into the home they'd be staying in for some time being. "Okay seems like everything is good, let us know when you're ready to leave.'' Damon tells them as he goes to get Stefan to leave who was helping Kook move his bags. "We're not really up to go out right now, we might stay in." Joon tells him. "That's fine." "Were making dinner would you both like to stay for dinner?" Jin asks them. Damon was about to answer when his phone rings, "One sec." He answers and from the looks of it he needed to leave asap, Stefan heard it. Klaus was back in town. Kook was too busy moving things to listen in. "Something came up, i won't be able to stay but thanks for the offer." Damon tells them. "I can stay. I don't have anything to do later." Stefan pipes up. For some reason he felt close to Jungkook, and wanted to know him better. "Alright see you later then Damon." Joon tells him goodbye as well as the others and he leaves. "Kook were all good here in the kitchen, you go and unpack." Jimin tells him from the kitchen. "Alright Hyung. Let me know if you need help.' " He says as he goes to get all his bags, Stefan goes and helps him, "Here, I'll help you." Jungkook smiles thankfully and they go upstairs.

Jungkook begins unpacking in the room he chose. Stefan was sitting down on the chair inside the room since he'd been scolded to not help and just rest. "So tell me more about yourself Jungkook." He asks him as Jungkook smiles slightly. "My name is Jungkook, I'm 24 years old, I'm in a group called BTS. I love to sing and dance. I like painting and art in general." "That's it? There's gotta be more." Stefan says, gaping his mouth. "No, it's your turn Salvatore." He says as he sat down on his bed after putting everything away. "Fine. my name is Stefan Salvatore, I was born here in Mystic Falls, I'm also 24, I enjoy writing, and I have an older brother." He finishes as he sits back leaning into the couch. "You barely said anything! I said more!" Jungkook says laughing. Stefan laughs as well, shrugging his shoulders when his necklace comes into view. A silver ring was put onto a silver chain around his neck. That made Jungkook freeze in shock. Steffan sensed it and Jungkook quickly focused again. "Nice necklace Stefan. It's pretty." "Oh this one. Thanks." What does it mean?" "You know i honestly can't remember, i got it a long time ago, just saw that i had it one random day and i felt like an emotional attachment for some reason to it so i've worn it since forever.I know it's from a past lover maybe, just can't remember if i did have one or not. " He finished saying as he laughed softly. Jungkook smiled sadly. Suddenly they called downstairs since the food was ready and are all sat down. They're having a Korean BBQ. "So I see you got along well with him Kook." Taehyung tells him in Korean. "Yeah pretty much Hyung, we're the same age so I guess it makes sense." He responds back. They are all focused on eating and Jungkook sees Stefan a little confused, "okay so basically you can eat the meat by itself, along with the sides and rice, there's also another way to eat it. You get a lettuce and put a piece of meat then whatever you want. Wrap it up and eat it whole." Jungkook says as he makes him one. Stefan watched intrigued and as he ate it he approved the taste. "Woah, that's really good." They all laugh and continue eating. "Usually with Korean BBQ we drink Soju which is Korean alcohol but we're in America right now so the only option is beer or liquor." Joon says to everyone. "But we have things to do tomorrow and I don't really wanna feel the effect of a hangover tomorrow." "Alright. Thank you so much for dinner. I don't wanna keep you guys from going to sleep now. I'll see you in the morning." Stefan says as he gets ready to leave. "You're good Stefan. Yes. We do have a scheduled tomorrow interview with the local news. As well as a photo shoot for the town I think?" Yoongi tells him. "Oh really? Alright then." "We do have to begin preparing for the press conference, it's when we'll tell what we're going to be doing here and also make an announcement. We're going to go on a pause for a while, maybe do some solo stuff here and there but we just want a small break too. We haven't had one since we debuted." Jungkook tells him as he then understands. "Wow really? Well you guys deserve it, I'm sure your fans will support you." He reassured them. "Thanks." "Well imma get going, see you guys tomorrow." He says as he waves bye and walks out the door, shutting it close "Seems like someone got along superrrr well with Stefan." Jimin tells out loud as they all saw Jungkook who was looking frozen in the direction Stefan left. He was quietly thinking. "Huh. Hyung really? We're the same age, and we have the same interests! Don't start." Jungkook complained to his Hyungs who were smiling at his nervousness. "Alright, but man he seems interested in you Kook. Hope he won't miss you when we go back home." Hoseok tells him laughing. "Oh my god, you guys are so annoying." He says as he leaves embarrassed. Everyone shakes their head at him as they all go and leave to their rooms to sleep. Jungkook however felt nervous again. A strong presence entered Mystic Falls. And he didn't want to think it was who he thought it was.
