I become easily irritated when my Boss called my name again. I know that it's about my work. Ano na naman kaya ang nagawa ko? What a day!

"Hi, Boss," I answered sweetly even though my face doesn't say so.

"Lisha, anong ginagawa niyo diyan sa loob? Diba, I asked you to prepare for the request of Mrs. Ledesma? Their admin is requesting for an update."

"Boss, the truth is they requesting an update but their lines are always busy every time I call them. So, hindi namin po sila macontact, Boss."

"What?! Then try to call them again? They are an elite client, it's a big opportunity to cater to their needs. Mas makikilala ang company natin."

Wow! If I know you're aiming for a promotion. That's why? I murmured to myself.

"Then, I will not accept that as an answer, Lalisha. Gawan niyo ng paraan yan."

"Ok po,Boss. Gagawan po namin ng paraan."

Hoy!

I tried to call their line again but it's still busy.

I compose also an email for their admin for follow-up.

"Kain tayo guys."

"Thank You, Sir Eric.

Since buong maghapon akong wala sa mood, I didn't follow up regarding sa mga Ledesma's request instead I plan to go home early and take a rest. I needed to take a break from our valued client, akala mo siya ang may-ari ng pinagtatrabahuhan namin.

"Guys, maaga tayo uuwi huh. I declared to my teammates.

Trevor and Anna just look at me in disbelief but still we go home early.

Trevor said.

Trevor looks up like he's thinking something deep. I stared at him with my wide eyes! Yes, he's right that's why it's suspicious!

"Well, Ma'am and Sir, hayaan na lang natin.Bukas pa naman 'yon." Anna makes the atmosphere light again with her laugh.

We part ways at the last lamp post in the street. I wait for the bus in front of the Greenfield District. What a crowded place? That's why sometimes I hate to commute, masyadong hassle sa life. Commuters' life indeed.

At lassssttt! Gotchaaaa! The 9th Bus.

Really...? Being a grown-up is a life challenging phase. You will lose people and learn about the real world. It's different from being a child or it's just our perception of things changes. Did the world change or it's us...?

I stared blankly at the window; the sky is glooming, signs that it will pour its tears. I peeked at the different people on the bus. How far we are different from each other in terms of lifestyle, age, preferences, principles, and other things. Are they happy? I hope they are...

I get my earpods, put it in my ears and go to my Spotify playlist. I choose the Dear Name song by IU. I savor the moment with this gloomy weather with me and this solemn music until I got home.

Napadaan ako sa bulaklak na nakuha ko no'ng nakaraang araw at happy to say it's still blooming.

I look at the flowers like I'm in a court asking the criminal about his committed crime.

"Heyyyy, Flowers!"

"Who is your Dad!"

I chuckled while I am staring at the flowers with my cross arm.

"Mahina pala ang Daddy mo. Takot ata 'yon sa'kin, ayaw man lang magpakita at magpakilala."

I chuckled again and stared at the flowers.

I caress it, somehow it makes me happy.
