Chapter 3: The master of the castle

As the day had passed turning to night, suddenly Lucy hears two voices approaching her cell. "Come now Adam we can't just leave her in there without food" one voice said sounding familiar "Charles feeding the prisoner..we will surly be scolded for this" the other voice said sounding scared "oh stop worrying besides master isn't evil " once the two reached her cell Lucy gets up and stairs seeing the two men but wasn't afraid of them since they seemed friendly. Charles looks at her and smiles brightly "hello madam if you will follow us " he pulls a lever unlocking her cell "dinner will now be served ". Lucy hesitantly pushes the door open as Charles and Charles lead her out of the cells and to a dinning room of the castle a table is set before her with waiters setting a feast onto the table before her. Adam stands at a chair near the table pulling it out for her to sit , Lucy sits onto the chair and looks at the table again as a plate of food is set before her. A smile of excitement appears on her face as the smell and sight were much to behold. An elder lady walks over to Lucy and sits beside her smiling "we apologize for the young masters anger he doesn't take well to new people" Lucy looks at the nice elder lady and nods to her now feeling welcomed by the people of the castle "your master seems very...harsh about what is punishable....miss?" the elder lady laughs softly and softly smacked her own leg"the young master may be harsh but deep down he's a softie " suddenly Adam looks at the doors of the room terrified"m...master we were just about to send someone to retrieve you". The one called master walks to his chair at the table and sits as his face was now revealed showing a dark haired male young but grown, his body slim and but somewhat built "so we now feed prisoners now even after destroying property" Lucy now annoyed hearing herself be labeled prisoner over and over she stands up from her chair slamming her hands against the table in anger "for your information so called master, I have a name it's Lucy and I only picked one rose..if you only knew why I picked the rose, would you still be sitting here treating me like I'm a crook " the master looks at her and glares at Lucy "you will show respect for I am sir Carlos ruler of this kingdom " Carlos stands up slowly, before much else happened Malusa steps in "master Carlos sit down and behave yourself this isn't the behavior of a king it's the behavior of a runt " Carlos looks at Malusa and sits "fine what ever as long as she leaves my garden alone I do not care then" Lucy sits back down and turns to Malusa "thank you for standing up for me I hope you wont be in any trouble" Malusa shakes her head smiling"as I said he may be mean but deep down he's a softie he won't do anything to me " Malusa assured her and begins eating as all the others of the castle sit and begin eating. Little did Lucy know this is only the beginning of what's to come
