chapter 16: the time hope ran away

Rori hung up the phone and dropped to the ground. The weight of her heart consumed her, the room was silent too silent. She got up and ran to the car not saying a word to Eddie and Tucker. Banging her hands on the wheel wonder what she did to deserve this.

Tucker looked out the door confused about what he just saw and asked Eddie about the  phone conversation which was automatically recorded they listened carefully until they heard two words that struck pain in TC's chest which were "Michael" and " Accident".

Tucker immediately looked out the door wondering if Rori was still in the drive way and she wasn't. " Damn it Rori!" Tucker said as he came back inside. " What's wrong son?" Eddie said questioning his mood. " Rori took my car and left not telling me anything about Michael's car wreck!" Eddie noticed his son anger and stayed quiet until Chris said " I know we just saw each other for the first time in years and I'm so embarrassed to ask but mind giving me a lift?" Eddie got up and threw a key ring at Tucker and said " Yes but your driving the Chevrolet that I got in 70'."

* MEAN WHILE* 

Rori pulled into the parking lot, and was greeted by at least 2 nurses telling her that she can not go into his room at the moment. She was dieing inside praying Michael was alright. After at least 2hrs they let her in his room. " Babe I'm right here." Rori said crying knowing Michael could hear her.  The doctor came in followed by Eddie and Tucker. " Mrs. Jackson I'm sorry to tell you this but your husband is in a coma we don't know of he will wake up but he wanted us to give this to you before he went into the coma."

The doctor handed her a cd with the words " Your my everything" on it she thanked the doctor and made sure to listen to it when everyone left. As doctor's came and went Rori pulled the cd out and put it in the cd player that was in his room.

She cried after the first song remembering when Michael tried to sing her favorite collab trio group.

Then the one song she would sway to when she was pregnat with Loraine came on. Rori replayed the song at least 3 time before letting the next song come on.

The memories consumed her when she heard A thousand years from the time she and Michael met to the birth of their first born it felt like a thousand years just seeing him lay their.

Janet walked in the room holding Lori trying to comfort her mother while keeping a positive attitude. Rori remembered The song my girl from when Michael was first holding Loraine singing softly to her before handing her over to a very tired Rori. 

The flash back of seeing her old friend Freddie with Michael passed her by like a fish trying to get caught.

Roriann wondered how long Michael will sleep before he wakes up...

WOAH!! Also don't mind the thousand years twilight movie clips but imagine the memories that came with that song!!
