FAIRY HEART

Chapter 7

------- Excursion at Mt. Hakobe -------

(Fairytail Guildhall)

After Mira had introduced Fairytail's 3rd Master. Master Makarov then proceeded to jump and do a backflip reaching up to the 2nd floor of the Guild. Unluckily his flip was only able to let him reach the railings thereby hurting his back. The Master recovered fast from the embarrassment and stand unto the railings as he then starts to lecture the Guild members.

"You lots have gone and done it again. Just look at this pile of complaints the Magic Council had sent me this time." Master Makarov sternly said as he show them the pile of complaints.

"This is the biggest pile they've sent me yet. Have you lost your minds! All you guys were good at is getting the higher ups mad at me!" Master said containing his anger. The members are sternly sorry as the Master lectured them. Lucy who was new, was very worried as she doesn't know what to do as the tense atmosphere is still present. She was however shock at what the Master did next.

"However, I'd say the heck with the Magic Council." Master continued as he lit the  pile of complaints and throw it. Natsu then leap and  consume the flames as Master continue his lecture as the Guild listen intently.

"Now listen up. Any power that surpasses reason still comes from reason right. Magic is not some miraculous tool, it's a talent that only works when the flow of energy inside of us and the flow of energy in the natural world are in perfect synchronisation." Added the Master as the Guild intently listen and Natsu agreeing while eating the burning pile of complaints.

"To perform magic one must have a strong mind and the ability to focus, it should take over your being and come pouring in your soul. If we all worry about following the rules then our magic will never progress. Don't let those blowhard from the Council scare you." said the Master encouraging the Fairytail wizards

"Follow the Path you believe in cause that's what makes Fairytail Number 1" Master Makarov proudly declares while raising his right hand in an L  shape position as the rest of the Guild do the same while rejoicing.

Lucy who witness all of this was in awe and in her mind she said "this might be it, I found the family I longed for."

Later that day we find Lucy with Mira who is stamping the Fairytail Guild tattoo on her right arm.

"There now your an official member of the Guild Lucy." Mira said happily.

"Look Natsu! Mira just gave me the official Fairytail mark." Lucy said enthusiastically as she showed Natsu her pink guildmark.

"Oh yeah that's cool. Welcome to the Guild Loony." Natsu said boredly looking in front.

"The names Lucy!" Lucy corrected angrily.

Natsu was actually grinning inside as she heard Lucy's reaction, not that he would show it to others. He then focus his view on the Guild's request board as he try to search for a suitable job.

The 'Request board' is where wizards can pick a job posted on the board. Each job pose a unique challenge and difficulty at different pay rate.

"Make sure to choose a high paying job Natsu." Happy told Natsu.

Natsu began scanning the board until he finds a suitable job for him and Happy and maybe Lucy.

"Wow 160 000 jewel for beating up some thieves. This is like rewards for beating up monsters." Natsu said happily.

Suddenly a tiny voice was heard in the Guild's bar where Master Makarov was busily chugging down his beer.

"How come my dad hasn't come back yet?"
