The smells of metal covered his nose. The heavy pressure kept him on his place. Under his comrades corpses, a red haired man stared ahead.

On this kingdom that already razed through the ground, the hero struggled to freed himself from his enemy grip.

One looked from the White Star.

"Time is warped oddly for you."

The last thing he remembered was the White Star stared at him and an arrow of fire pierced through his chest.

Hans stood infront of the door. Since the trash young master's butler, Ron, gone who knows where, he had been the one responsible for the young master. His first day was not so bad because the young master barely awoke from the beating he got.

'Serves him right.'

'Someone need to put him in his place.'

Many whispers thanked the young man who had beaten the young master in to a pulp.

Hans just sighed. Even though the young master was known as a trash, he still only an eighteen years old, barely an adult. A hit for being rude should have enough.

He knocked softly, even though he knew there was no one who would hear. "Young master-nim, have you awake?"

Contrary to his thought, there was a noise from the room. He went rigid.

But something sounded wrong. The noise he heard from the room sounded like a pained groan, gasping for air.

Hans urgently went into the room, not caring about butler etiquette as he stood beside the bed. "Young master-nim, are your wounds hurting?! Should I call the priest?"

There was no answer, just more gaps, like breathing were a hard thing to do.

Hans went out to call a priest, but before he could go Cale caught his hand. "No."

His voice was breatheless, while his hand was shaking. "No priest."

"But young master-nim, your condition—"

"Just potion." Cale said, his grip tightened. "Just give me potion."

Hans got no choice but to follow Cale's order.

After sometimes, Cale could finally breathe normally even though his hands still shaking.

Hans went to report to Deruth, while Cale organized his thoughts.

From his condition, he could say that he came back to when he got beaten up by Choi Han. Not a great time to be back, but well, beggar can't choose.

His deal with the God of Dead only contain that he came back in time, with his memories intact. But he guessed he make a miscalculation because regressed with his memories intact mean bringing also his physical pain in the form of mental pain.

And by God, Cale didn't enjoy being pierced in the chest.

___

After that, everything felt like a blur for him. His father came with a relief expression. His step mother still as elegant as ever, but there was a hint of concern there. Basen and Lily could only stand while awkwardly took glances at him.

The doctor—since Hans told Deruth how Cale rejected a priest—checked on him and said that he would be fine after some rest.

As everyone exited the room, Cale just laid on his bed. After getting used to his body's condition, he could finally assess his situation.
