Marcy's POV:
"really!? Great job Anne!! I'm so proud of you!!"
Marcy said as she gave her childhood friend a tight hug, as Anne's lungs felt like it was blocked by Marcy's hug as she pat Marcy's head lightly.
"T-Thanks Mar Mar, b-but... Can y-you let me go now? I can't breathe-"
Anne said as Marcy's head perked up in realization, as she let out a nervous giggle and smiled softly Letting go of Anne.
"hehe, sorry Anna Banana I just couldn't believe it. You legit almost did something so illegal that could literally get you fired, and instead of that, you got the the high role of lieutenant!"
Marcy said as Anne let out a sigh.
"I know, but whatever the General has in plan. I would have to go along with it."
Anne said in determination as she took her bag filled with weapons and amor for training, as Anne smiled back at Marcy.
"well Mar Mar, I'll be going now. Make sure you be careful when you're out there."
Anne said as Marcy nodded in agreement, saluting to Anne afterwards.
"you got it commander!"
Marcy giggled as Anne laughed along as she left the house, Marcy hopped off the couch as stretched out her arms. She looked through her potions book as she started to make invisibility potions, she noticed that she was missing some ingredients which was a bit strange. She remembered that she never forget to get anything, but that doesn't matter at least she had an excuse now to go to the woods. She took her bag off the hook as she wore it around her shoulder, she took a deep breath as she went out of the door of her house. She walked through the town having some greetings here and there before seeing the dephs of the dark forest, her face formed a confident smile as she took out her journal and an pencil. Time for a trip to the woods, she walked in the woods she was fascinated by the beauty and calmness of the woods. Maybe coming there wasn't such a bad idea, she saw a purple flower she looked at her potion book it was needed for her invisibility potion. She walked towards the flower as she plucked it out of the ground, she knew the flower was poisonus and so she kept it in a glass jar and placed it inside her bag. She opened back her journal and flip through her pages, to find a list of things she'd check out one of them. One down, twelve more to go. She closed her journal as she walked the right side of the path, she looked around to see if she could find anymore ingredients. Not realizing she was going far too deep in the woods, on the way she saw one of the fungi that was needed and her eyes sparkled in relief. When she was about to pick it up, Marcy heard something from the bushes. She turned around no one was there, she prepared her crossbow underneath her sleeve as she loaded it with an arrow.
"who's there!?"
Marcy shouted out as she looked around, before hearing that same sound again this time in a different direction. She pointed her loaded sleeve towards the direction she knew it stopped.
"if you don't show yourself I'll shoot!"
She shouted as she waited for what felt like 30 minutes, before hearing the bushes move again. She regain her 'offence mode' as the person came out of the bushes, her hands on the air.
"don't shoot, I'm not gonna hurt you.."
The person said, the armor looked kind of familiar to Marcy. It looked like Toad Military armor, but why would a Toad Military be here in the deep woods? But all Marcy knew, is that she can't trust them. Her arm stood still in place, still aiming her crossbow to the Guard.
