Baby I'll be late please. We can talk about it when I'm back okay!? I said and kissed her lips before rushing out of the living room.

I'm sure gonna miss her I thought. I was driving quietly, I kept smiling like an idiot. Oh my Arsham is in love I thought smiling to my self.

I'm supposed to be at by office by 8:00am on the dot. I parked my car at the parking space in the building before glancing at my wrist watch and it reads 8:37am

I'm already 37minutes late. I quickly rushed to my office and started my work.

I heard my phone buzzing who could it be I thought after glancing at the wall clock and it's 11:30am on the dot.

It was an unknown caller so I decided not to pick. My phone rang for the second time so I decided to pick.

Hello Arsham! It's Hanan, your wife's best friend she said immediately after I picked up the call.

Hey Hanan how are you!? I asked wondering why she had to call me, maybe she's trying to reach my wife I thought.

I'm fine her voice brought me out of thoughts. I'm at the airport can you send someone to pick me up please, I want to surprise Arwa, I didn't tell her I was coming and she's the first person I want to see in Abuja.

Wow! I said imagining how happy my wife will be after seeing her best friend. I'll come pick you up I said and hung up.

I went straight to the airport to pick her up. I dialled her number and tell her I was there.

Hey Hanan! How're you I asked with a smile. I'm fine she smiled back.

And how is my best friend she asked!? She's absolutely fine I said and she nodded.

So you decided to throw a surprise I said and Hanan chuckled. Yes I missed her so much.

Actually I'm eight month pregnant so I'm staying here in Abuja until I give birth she said and I nodded.

Oh eyyah that's nice then I said and smile.

A loud ringing of the doorbell interrupted my sleep and I quickly went up to open the door.

Who could it be I thought. It's already 10mintutes after 1:00.

Guess who!? It's my best friend Hanan you'all. I screamed and jumped on her. Oh mi Gohd Hanan is this you I said jumping up and down like a baby!

Stop screaming idiot you ain't dreaming. It's your best friend standing right in front of you she said.

You didn't tell me you were coming I said. Yes it's because I wanted to surprise you she said and smiled.

I'll be going back love. I have alot of work to do at the office he said and I nodded. Okay love thank you for bringing her. He smiled and kissed my cheek. Byee I waved at him

Hanan was settled on the coach and I went straight to where she was sitting. So Hanan you came all the way from portharcourt to see me I asked!?

I was back in 10minutes time. Your food is ready baby mama I said

I ambled to the dinning area with Hanan and her big baby bump trailing behind lol.

Wait Arwa. I thought you're pregnant she asked looking straight into my eyes.

Okay I said and grabbed my phone from the center table. It's my babe. I dialled his number

Arwa: Hey babe sorry I missed your call.

Arsham: I'm waiting for you  outside

Arwa: okay we're coming. Are you not hungry

Arsham: I'll manage. It's getting late

Arwa: ok.
