Me and Alastair

Embarrassed

Another school day, gosh I don't wanna go. I walk into class and I see my friend Alastair, suddenly the day felt so much better.

My friend Alastair could make me smile even if I was in my darkest times.

I walked over to her and told her about my morning. She replied, "Oh, well I hope you're okay." That made me explode with joy on the inside.

You see, I have a crush on my friend. When I walked in on the first day of school and saw her, I fell in love immediately. She was so beautiful and she could lead the entire school if she wanted to, she's also my tallest friend.

"Yeah I'm fine." I replied. I got unpacked and it felt like in a blink it was time for our first outdoor recess. I run outside, eager to become a potato.

(I'll put my arms inside my jacket and sit there like a potato out of it's potato sack all alone.)

Recess ended and we went
onto ELA. I blinked again and we were outside for Lunch Recess. I walked over to Alastair and told her about this Wattpad story I've been reading called Worth The Shot, I explained it was a Camilo x Reader story and I told her about the beginning of it.

"Come to think of it," I looked her up and down "You look like Camilo just 2 inches taller." She took it as a compliment and we walked in for lunch.

After I was done eating I was talking to Alastair. I think she was coming up with this idea for a while because she did it spot on. She copied what happened in the beginning of the Wattpad story I've been reading. She pinned me against the wall like Camilo did to y/n. I died on the inside. I was screaming internally.

"YOU'RE ACTING LIKE CAMILO!!" I yelled. It was muffled because my hands were hiding my face. I was embarrassed. She was just like him just a girl and a bit taller. I got up and sat back down in my seat.

We lined up and I was next to Alastair. We whispered the entire way to the classroom. She, again, pinned my against the wall by the backpacks. I died, again. I told her, "stop you're embarrassing meeeee." She stopped then when I walked in front of the class (I had to) she pinned me again. Everyone was looking.

This annoying kid in my class named Charlie yelled, "KATIE JEEZ GO DO THAT IN THE BATHROOM OR SOMETHING!!" I felt my face become redder than ever. I asked to go to the bathroom and I ran.
