The smell in the kitchen was so appetizing. I cooked and prepared bacon, eggs, spam, ang hot coffee. I thought I couldn't find anything to cook here but I was glad that Mithor stocked the fridge and cupboard.

I was currently putting utensils on the plate when I felt Mithor's arms enevolped my body.

"Good morning," he greeted in his raspy morning voice.

"Good morning.

"The ones I cooked," I answered, anyway.

"Oh, I thought I'll eat the one who cooked."

"Kagigising mo lang at kung ano-ano ng lumalabas sa bibig mo," I said while stopping my mind from flashing the scenarios of what he did to me last night in the shower.

Nakakainis talaga! I was so annoyed the whole night and he was just laughing in front of my face.

I couldn't think of the shower the same way before.

"Mithor..." he was waiting for me to say something. I looked at him before I proceeded. "Ano ba tayo ngayon?"

"We're dating, right?" I nodded.

"Then what's bothering you?" he carefully asked.

"I don't know. I understand him because we grew up in a different environment. And most probably, he had different beliefs regarding this matter.

My eyes sparkled when I saw what he was holding. It was an elegant piece of pearl ring.

"Pwede bang manligaw?" he asked, trying to emphasize every word he uttered.

Wasn't this a romantic moment? He was there, showing a pearl ring to me while both of us sitting on the shore. Then there's the witness to my answer, the sea.

"Of course." He smiled and slid the ring to my index finger.

"Save your ring finger when I propose." My eyes widened and my heart was pounding.
