Chapter 22

Unknown POV 

I watched the Swan girl walking alone. The scent of her blood driving me crazy. It smells so rich, so sweet like I could just taste it as I licked my lips. 

"You gonna keep staring at her all day?" A woman asked with crossed arms. 

I laughed. 

"No, but her blood is so-"

"Intoxicating? Yeah I know, but its best we not interfer right now, we'll have our time with her. With both of Them," 

"You can keep the other one, I have my eyes on the prize," I tell her licking my lips once more. 

Rebekah's POV 

i sighed.

"Stupid Jacob, who the  hell does he think he is? He has no authority on who I can and cannot date." 

"Rebekah," Jasper says  vamping towards me. 

"Jazz? What are you doing out here?"

"I sense a nomad watching you, we have to take you back home,"

"I'm being watched?" 

Before he could answer, Jasper grabbed me and placed me on his back as he zoomed away as fast as he could. I was clinging onto him for dear life until we made it back to my front door where he dropped me off. 

"Do not go out there alone anymore understand?" Jasper asked looking around. "He's gone now, we lost him,"

"Im sorry Jasper, I only wanted to go out for a walk,"

"I know, but Alice saw a vision of you in danger I came as fast as I could,"

"Jasper," I whispered just as he kissed my forehead. 

"Stay here and with Bella. Please I cant afford to lose you,"

"Your not coming?" 

"I can't, the wolves have decended," Was all he said before Vamp Speeding away. 

I sighed as I was going to open the door, but it had swung open to reveal the one person I didnt want to see. 

"I'm sorry," he began scratching the back of his head. "I shouldn't let a Cullen disrupt our long term friendship,"

"Jacob? You feeling alright? You never apologize,"

He chuckled. 

"I'm feeling just fine. But I really am sorry, I shouldn't try and control who you can and cannot date. I dont even like you like that loca," He says smirking. 

I smirked back. 

"All is forgiven?" 

"Hmmm... Maybe with a hug," I told him causing him to smile wide as I squealed when he grabbed me into a hug and twirled me around. 

"Did my sister put you up to this?" I laughed punching him in the gut when he put me down. 

"I felt really bad, and your sister hating me for it doesn't sit right with me," He said rubbing the back of his head. 

"Speaking of where is she? I would like to talk with her like now,"

"Stuck in her room, She-" Jacob stopped mid sentence as I left him and raced upstairs. 

I saw her door was closed as I knocked on it. 

"Come in,"

"Bells,"

"Rebekah!" She yells jumping up and giving me a bone crushing hug. "Did he apologize?"

"He did. Were cool now but something I have to tell you," I tell her pulling her to the bed. 

"Whats up?"

"I was on a walk, Jasper came out of nowhere and-"

"He was following you?" She interrupted as I shrug. 

"I didn't have time for questions, Jasper told me a nomad was watching me, he literally grabbed me and took me back home. It was so fast.... After he dropped me off he told me that we lost them, I asked him to come inside but he said the wolves decended,"

"The wolves decended? What does that mean?"

"I've been trying to figure it out, but I think he was referring too Jacob and Billy, they the only ones here,"

Bella frowned. 

"So what like there werewolves or something?" 

"I dont know but he seems not to like them,"

"I don't see why not we grew up with them,"

"I know, I need to find out more from Jasper later,"

She sighed. 

"Edward came by earlier when you were out,"

"He did?"

"Yeah, he invited me to meet his family this weekend,"

I smiled big as I giggled and hugged her. 

"YES! I'm suppsed to meet them this weekend as well,"

"Oh my thats right! This is great we both  can meet them tooether," 

"Are you nervous?" I couldn't help but ask her. 

"A little, but I'm only nervous  they wont like me,"

I laughed at my sister as she gave me a weird look and crossed her arms. 

"So, not only are you worried not because its a whole coven of Vampires, but because they wont like you?"

Bella chuckled herself. 

"Edward said the same thing, maybe you two are alot alike then you realize,"

"I guess so, hes cool I just dont like him reading my mind,"

Bella giggled. 

"The joy of me hes not able to,"

"Show off," I mumbled causing her to laugh this time as the door knocked. 

We looked to see it was Jacob at the door as he had sodas in his hand. 

"Knock, Knock," he says grinning. "Thought yall might be thirsty,"

"Yes thank you Jake, very kind of you," I say taking a soda as Bella took the other. 

"I heard giggling in here, you girls okay?"

"Yeah Jake, were having girl talk you know,"

"Girl talk? And I'm not counted in as the best friend?"

"Jacob, you are a whole different gender than us, you are of the male community which means you cant get into the girl talk,"

He pouted. 

"What if I threw on a wig and wore high heels?" He suggested as Bella and I looked at each other and started busting out laughing.
