Episode Eleven
*Quincy ends up bringing Morgan to her mom and instantly she is bawling again, but sits in the chair and just holds her mother's hand, sniffling, quietly and repeatedly asking her to wake up*
*Elijah stands next to her, a hand on her shoulder. Sam stands in the doorway, looking around, panic still in his eyes*
*He glances around before darting out the door to Grace's room. He slips in*
*Grace looks up, patting an open spot next to her on her bed*
*he sits down, quiet for a moment before breaking into tears; she gently hugs him and rocks back and forth slowly, trying to calm him down*
I-Its my fault...
It's not... it was the rogues.
B-But she's dead because I took him away...
She's dead because of what the rogues did. They made it to where a Wanderling would fall in love with a character. It is not your fault at all
*Sam looks down* If she finds out, she's gonna blame me...
I'm sure she won't once the entire situation is explained. She might right now, but know that it's just grief, yeah? I went through the same thing in this story with my mom. At first, yes, I did blame the council.. but I realized it was my parent's mistakes that led to what happened. To her being banished. To my father, who became an alcoholic and was divorced by Cinderella.
*he nods slightly as a news report on the TV starts to play* News Lady: According to the police, the abuser Trevor Draper, has been caught and placed in prison by a teacher and student of Marble Hills Academy.
*Sam's eyes go wide; Sam glances at Grace, worried*
She won't know it's you. She might end up remembering the fight though. Because weren't you and her the ones who helped?
*he nods*
If she remembers just the fight, she'll realize she should be mad at him, not you
*he looks down* I still feel guilty though... I wish there was something I could do to bring Luna back...
You can't. She was my main character, she was due to die soon... *she gasps* Oh no... when Asch finds out, I'm dead
*Sam smiles slightly* When Z finds out you're dead.
Oh God...
At least Asch is on Daemos. Z is here, and being blind isn't going to stop her. *he pauses* When did she go blind?
I am very aware of that, and it was at the end of our last story. It was my fault.
Well, I can't remember whose fault it was, but still
What happened?
Oh God... as far as I know, someone put their control over me and made me rip a hole in the barrier. I was able to get everyone else out without the void burns I have, and then..
*he waits*
Since the rip was open so long, and Z was the one in charge of the void, I killed her. We were able to get her into a new body, the one you see today, but the damage was so extensive that the blindness carried over. So yes, I've killed and blinded her. And yet she's still alive.
*Sam smiles sadly* She's always pulled through....
*she laughs a little as she looks at the red cloth bracelet around her wrist*
*he looks at her* What?
I was allowed to go home the other day, and I made this. *she shows him the bracelet* It's what's left of my cape.
