Just to see you smile.

It was a bright day in Konoha. Lively villagers walked around the shopping districts, humming tunes and skipping a beat with all the liveliness. 

Not all the villagers were in lively spirits.

The 'demon' of the village, as the villagers called him, was alone in the corners of the district. Shouted at, disowned, and frowned upon by everyone. A frown on his face made it impossible to join the welcoming atmosphere; in contempt and failure, the boy left the section of the village. 

The boy arrives in a fairly hidden, quiet area. Cherry blossoms, a spacious pond, and birds beautifully chirping; scenery such as beauty and comfort, captivates the boy. 

A tree in the distance of the area has a figure lying beside it. The boy, curious, went to discover what lay besides the tree. 

A (H/C) child his age was looking towards the pond, too immersed to notice the boy. "..Hello?" Unsure, the boy said in a whisper. The child's (E/C) shone brightly at the boy's, blue eyes starting back. "Oh- s-sorry! I saw a really cool fish that jumped out of the water. Now, I'm waiting for it to come back.." the (Y/G) said tracing off.

The boy studied the (Y/G). They had beautiful (H/C), shining (E/C) eyes, (S/C) that glimmer in the sun. The boy thought they were pretty. 

The boy, distracted by his opinions of the (Y/G), snaps out with (Y/N) calling him.

"H-hey, i couldn't help but notice you frowning a lot, is there something wrong?" The boy looks away from the (Y/G). Too sad to speak of his situation.

The (Y/G) noticed his reluctant attitude; speaking kindly, they tried to encourage the boy. "My name is (Y/N). If it's okay, can you tell me what's wrong?" 

The boy pulled at his shirt,"I'm alone, no one likes talking to me in the village. They won't let me walk around them, or talk to them; it makes me upset." Tears fell around the boy's  puffy eyes. "Thank you for talking to me, I can leave if you want me to.." the boy sniffed, turning around and leaving.

(Y/N) looked up at him in shock, as their (S/C) hand caught his. "Please don't cry, I'm sure it will be okay! Stay please, I have nobody to talk to." (Y/N) smiled brightly at the boy. Puffing out their chest, (Y/N) curiously ask "Say, why don't we be friends?"

The boy turned to the (H/C) haired child in shock and smiled very brightly. "R-really? For real? You want to be my friend?!" The boy leaps into their arms.

"Listen all of Konoha! Naruto Uzumaki has a new friend! Believe it!!" Naruto yells particularly to no one. (Y/N) mouths in awe. 

"Naruto, huh? What a nice name." (Y/N) says calmly. Naruto looks at (Y/N) with warmth. (Y/N) glances up at Naruto. "I'll help you smile...Naruto Uzumaki" (Y/N) says, smiling softly.
