(Inspiration for Auror Office)

The Auror Office was a busy room filled with flying paper airplanes that delivered memo after memo. Empire lamps illuminated the space, and almost endless paperwork was stacked on each employee's desk. Every few hours, a new folder floated down on a designated pile. That Friday afternoon, two envelopes maneuvered through the traffic.

Two pairs of steps could be heard through the hallways of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. One, a young man built like a Grecian statue with the height to match. Beside him, in equal strides, a young woman that despite her petite stature had a domineering aura about her. Both were partners in (stopping) crime and had a good day of catching juvenile delinquents.

"Look who's back!" Lead Auror Jackson Wang twirled on his seat, facing the double doors that opened before the incoming pair

"Look who's back!" Lead Auror Jackson Wang twirled on his seat, facing the double doors that opened before the incoming pair. He leaned on his desk and rested his chin on his palm. "Heard you went swimming in the Thames, Moon."

"I had a lovely time. Thanks for asking, Wang," Byulyi retorted with a smirk as she gave a high-five to Jackson's receiving palm.

"Still on the case of the Gringotts banker?" Namjoon stopped to look at Jackson's files.

"Yeah. I think I'm on to something. The niece's testimony didn't match up with the murder timeline. I'll have Ryujin, and the rest look into her, but not before-," Jackson stood up from his seat with a flourish. "A nice long coffee break."

Jackson twirled his wrist and summoned a french press with a cup and saucer. He watched as Moon Byulyi limped over to her table while Namjoon accidentally hit his knee on his open desk drawer. Jackson stifled a laugh before he poured himself a cup of black coffee.

"I just got this fixed," Namjoon sighed, closed his eyes, and tilted his head upward.

"Here. Let me," Byulyi walked over.

"It's no biggie, Moon," Namjoon said, subtly pointing to his partner's injury. She would eventually say, was not that bad. He shook his head at his partner's willful nature.

Byulyi took out her wand, and the wooden drawer pieced itself back together before slamming shut. She then cast a second charm to make sure the drawer could hold another clumsy accident. Withdrawing her wand, Byulyi massaged her elbow feeling a mild sprain.

After a few sips, Jackson took two envelopes from the top of the folders. The envelopes were slightly large and were a deep emerald green color.

"Oh! By the way. I have a little present," he said in sing-song. "It accidentally landed on my desk after crashing with a stack of arrest warrants. Congratulations, Kim and Moon!"

"Is that?" Namjoon said in a small voice as he tried to contain all the excitement in his large body.

Byulyi's eyes twinkled as she received her envelope with a shy smile. She palmed the surface of the paper and noticed the faint shimmer of golden lines on the world map.

"Yup! You two," Jackson grinned and pointed two fingers. "Are officially up for Lead Auror promotion and chosen for the International Exchange Program. Woohoo! Drinks! Drinks!"

"Thank- thank you! It's an honor," Kim Namjoon had dreamed of becoming a Lead Auror and managing his small team ever since he was under Choi Wonyoung back in the States. With sweaty palms, he was both excited and nervous at training a mentee in a foreign destination.

"Pst. Moon. Here," Jackson stood next to Byulyi and handed her a packet of gummy candy.

"Sweets?" Byulyi raised an eyebrow.

"It has an anti-nausea potion in it. Don't tell anybody, but when I was in the program I threw up real bad during my trip to Istanbul," Jackson said with a wink.

"Thank you. I appreciate it," Byulyi said.

"Well? What are you waiting for, you two? Open it! Open it!"

"Right," Byulyi bit her lower lip in excitement and slid a finger on the flap of the envelope.

Like a suitcase, the envelope unfurled itself and its four corners extended outwards. On each side were photos and documents stuck together with push pins and in the very center was the Asian map with a gold star flashing above Seoul, South Korea.

"The motherland!" Namjoon exclaimed as he looked over Byulyi's map. "I got Bangkok, Thailand. Hm. Nicha Yontararak. Who's your mentee, Moon?"

Byulyi lifted a photo and scanned through her brief. "Jeon Jungkook."

"Wow! Look at those eyes!" Namjoon whistled. He picked up a photo of Moon Byulyi's mentee and sat down on his office chair. "Awww. He even included a baby picture! So cute!"

"Hm. He looks a bit like Peter Rabbit. The teeth," Byulyi tilted her head to the side.

Byulyi shuffled through a few photos and was surprised when a pink doodle suddenly appeared, creating bunny ears on the boy's photo followed by a K

"I bet two galleons he's a crybaby," Jackson grinned.

"Make it five," Namjoon added.

"No teasing," Byulyi chided the two as they snickered.

A few time zones away, the moon shone brightly over Samcheong, Seoul. Jeon Jungkook paused and let out an adorable sneeze.

"Omo! Someone's talking about me," the young man looked out of the window with wide eyes.

Thinking nothing of it, he turned around and wiped the sweat off his forehead. He proceeded to put on his black fingerless gloves and started lifting heavy weights.
