one way or another

Being without you has been like being at the gates of hell for everyone.

It's been about a good few weeks (lets say around 3-6 weeks) since you were taken.

Nobody has any track of you. Every tower security camera footage was deleted by an unknown source. Anything that could remotely even give an idea of where you are, where you are headed, or even if you are still alive...was gone.

It was driving everyone on the team crazy.

Tony worked day and night searching, hacking, bothering Friday. He barely got any sleep and when Steve and Pepper came down to his lab to force him to sleep, he only slept for about two good hours before he was up again.

Clint stopped going through vents and scaring people. It didn't feel right. And when he did go in vents, he always made sure to avoid your floor.

Vision and Wanda didn't cook your favorite foods, instead they cooked everything but.

Sam stopped talking about your favorite show, when it come on tv, he skipped it and skipped the thought of having friday call you down to watch it.

Natasha didn't stop doing anything, she started doing more. More working. More searching. Everything to distract her from you not being there to do those things with her.

Everyone stopped doing things, stopped sleeping as much, eating, hanging out, going out.

But Bucky? Bucky was the worst.

Bucky didn't shower. He didn't eat...when he did, it was some snacks but he dared not to touch your snacks.

He wanted to save them just for you when you got back. But he didn't know when that was.

Nobody gave up looking for you. Every sewer, alley, abandoned base...they even went underground.

They couldn't stop. It was so hard they couldn't even tell each other to stop. They just let each other fade.

But they couldn't stop no matter what. Even friday had to knock half the team out so they could at least get some sleep.

They know you wouldn't have wanted this, them staying up, worrying, crying, not eating or sleeping.

They knew you would've hated this. But they also know you hate being the hands of hydra again.

And they vow to get you back.

One way or another.
