(Modified) Super Soldier Programs.

Not a chapter. This had been in the draft for so long so I'm just gonna post it.

The Legatus Program: First Generation Super Soldiers.

Description: human soldiers enhanced with a super serum and augmented, becoming larger, a dozen times stronger, faster, and smarter than an average healthy adult human and has an average lifespan is 350 years.

Lore: In the year 2110, a war began between the U.N.A (United Nations Association) and C.C.A (Communists Coalition Associative), which led to millions of lives lost in a span of four years. Fearing defeat from the communist and wellbeing of their citizens, the high government officials of the U.N.A proposed and anonymously agreed on the creation of super soldiers; "The Legatus Program" under absolute secrecy to combat the C.C.A.

In an unknown location, hidden kilometers deep underground, a facility was erected to train 500 military volunteers. There they were given intense training that would enhance both their bodies and minds. After that, they are subjected to physical enhancement through the administration of a super serum into their bodies called the "Alpha-03" super serum and a few augmentations.

The results were astounding as all the volunteers gained amazing abilities. Their strength, speed, senses, intelligence, and reaction time were all enhanced to superhuman level; a dozen times more than an ordinary healthy adult human. They've also gained remarkable quick healing abilities and an increase in lifespan to 300 or so years.

In the year 2120, all the Legatus were deployed to execute multiple crucial missions under the government's orders such as: sabotaging of C.C.A operations, infiltration of C.C.A bases and infrastructures, and assassination and capture of high ranking members of the C.C.A.

Addition: The war ended in the year 2145 with the U.N.A's victory. the remaining Legatus that survived were given two options: they could integrate back to society and live their lives as civilians or stay in the military to either continue their duty or assist the training new soldiers. A majority of them had chosen to return to society while others chose to stay in the military.

Praefectus Program: Second Generation Super Soldiers.

Description: failed experiments to create second generation super soldiers that resulted in a 100% fatality.

Lore: After the successful creation of the first super soldiers, many high government and military officials of the U.N.A expressed the creation of a new program that would produce more super soldiers that are superior and cheaper than their predecessors. Their propositions were anonymously approved and the "Praefectus Program" was established in the year 2170, 25 years after the end of World War 3.

1,000 military men and women volunteered and were sent to the secret facility, there they were given the same training as their predecessors. After that, they were then injected with a new super serum called the "Delta-X", an enhanced version of the "Alpha-03". However, minutes after the administration of the serum, all 1,000 volunteers immediately went into a catatonic state as their brains deteriorated rapidly; more minutes passed and their bodies began bruising and deforming as their muscles tightened and contracted, breaking and tearing every bone and flesh in their bodies, killing them all instantly, resulting in a 100% casualty rate. Everyone last one of them died.

Due to the failure of the program, the 900 billion dollar project was immediately terminated and all those who have worked on the project were either fired or transferred to a new project.
