We've been running around all damn day and I was tired. The first show of the tour was about to start and I am nervous that I won't be able to give my all. You would expect that you're able to rest, especially on the first day to mentally prepare and be able to rest your vocals, but no.
I was currently in my dressing room, eating of course while my hair was being finished. Koi was sitting on the chair beside me watching the girl doing my hair closely. She didn't trust people with my hair, which I found hilarious. I trusted other people with my hair more than I did myself.
There was a knock at the door and I looked through the mirror to see who it was.
"Hey, about 15 more minutes before you go on." Oliver said, and then closed the door.
"Oh my God, Lani! How do you feel right now?" Koi asked with a big smile.
"Yeah how do you feel?" The stylist, Marie said.
"I'm honestly excited, but nervous, of course more nervous than anything." I said rubbing my palms together.
"Girl you'll do fine! Don't worry. Just pretend you're performing in front of me like old times." Koi said making me laugh.
"Will do." I said smiling while she grabbed my hand. Marie finally finished my hair, hugged me goodbye and wished me good luck. I sighed checking the time seeing it was only 5 more minutes until the show started. Koi fixed my dress and made sure everything looked good, before Oliver came in grabbing my hand rushing me to the side of the stage. Koi snapped a quick picture of me.

I felt arms snake around my waist, and I instantly knew it was Aubrey.
"I know you're nervous, but trust me baby, you'll do just fine." Aubrey said in my ear while kissing my neck making me smile. I already knew Koi was snapping pictures. I turned around and kissed his lips, and he placed his forehead on mine.
"Thank you, I love you Aubrey." I said kissing his lips one more time before I started to hear Medicine play and loud screams. He gave my hand a squeeze, and I placed my head down saying a quick prayer before walking onto the stage and starting to sing.
