ALWAYS WANTING TO escape to other worlds, Verina couldn't stand the lonely palace. Her Father was always out on other planets, settling matters. Her Mother had left when she was an infant. Her Father refused, and still refuses, to speak of her. She's been left alone to her duties, with only the handmaidens to talk to, and they didn't understand her.
