33. I follow

The next morning when Kai woke up his head was throbbing. He closed his eyes and tried to sooth the headache before it as time for school.

Since that wasn't really helping Kai got up and walked to the bathroom where he pulled out an Advil.
He took the pill and took a quick shower.

Once done showering he went to his closet and pulled out his hoodie and a pair of jeans when something fell to the floor. He furrowed his brows and picked up the object of the floor.
It was a picture frame. He turned it around and froze.

Inside the now cracked frame sat a photo of a very happy Kai kissing the cheek of his pale blonde girlfriend or well ex-girlfriend.

"How did you get in there?" he questioned sadly

Kai shook his head with a sigh and put the frame back in the cupboard.
Kai grabbed the clothes he sat down and quickly put them on.

He set off for downstairs when he noticed his sisters bedroom door open. Kai paused and sees his sister laying in bed under the covers not making a move to get ready for school. He let out a breath and walked to the door and knocking in the door.

"Can i come in?" he asks but gets no response from the broken girl "I'm coming in"

Kai walked in and sat on the bed. He glanced at his sister with a sad expression. Edward broke her. He gave her no hope, not in the way Rosalie gave him. Kai knew that in a year he'd see Rosalie again but Bella had no hope of seeing her love again.

Kai put his hand on his sister shoulder and squeezed it tightly
Bella sniffled and sat up and Kai immediately pulled her into his arm and held her as she cried

"I got you. I'm not going anywhere" Kai whispers in her ears over and over again

Once Bella calmed down Kai kissed her head. "I love you, Bella"

Bella didn't respond but she tightened her grip on him, and Kai knew she was saying it back.

Bella fell asleep and Kai gently sat her down and walked out the room. Once getting to his own room he shut the door and leaned against it. He let out a shaky breath and closed his eyes. Tear threatened to break through but he held them back. He wasn't going to cry. He was getting her back eventually. She will come back for him.

The front door bell rings bring Kai out of his thoughts. He rubbed his eyes and head for the door.
Getting there he opens the door and furrowed his brows in confusion as to who was at the door. Tracy.

She gave him a weak smile "Gonna let me in?"

Kai stood there shocked, Tracy raised her brow and Kai snapped out of it.
"Yeah, sure come in" he steps aside and she walks in

They walked inside to the kitchen and Kai leaned again the counter. He looked at Tracy who was glancing around the room.

"Aren't you supposed to be at school?" he asks making her look at him and shrug

"Aren't you supposed to be at school?" Kai froze and then shrugged

"What are you doing here?" he ask

Tracy smiled at him sadly "I got to school and there was rumors that the Cullens left town and then they didn't show up and neither did you, and i got worried. And here i am" she gestured to the house
"How are you?"

"You worry about me?" he teases making Tracy give him a look. "I..i don't know" he shook his head "She's gone and she left with a piece of me and it hurts." tears well in his eyes and Tracy takes a step forward and pulls him into a hug.

Tracy hugs him and rubs his back as tears stain her sweater. Kai stop crying and wiped his eyes letting out a sad chuckle.

"I told myself i wouldn't cry"

"It okay to cry. Crying helps" she put a hand on her shoulder "Plus it good for the skin" she jokes making him let out a true laugh

"Thank you Tracy, for always being here for me" he says giving her a smile

"I'm always here for you" she gives him a reassuring look
