Y/N'S POV~

Waking up the next morning, my head was pounding. I groaned as I sat up in bed, instantly holding onto my head as it felt like someone was taking a knife to my brain.

I reached for my phone where I looked at the time that read twelve-fifty-two pm. I groaned as I set my phone down and reached into my bedside drawer for some medicine.

I took two Advil's and let out a sigh as I wished they would kick in instantly. I felt like my head was going to explode.

Luckily I didn't have to be to work until two today so I still had some time for it to hopefully kick in.

Knowing I felt awful, I laid in bed until the headache finally went away. By time it did it was around one-thirty so I knew I didn't have much time now until work.

I took the quickest shower I could then hurried off to work.

Upon getting there I noticed Jin seated at his desk, zoned out. He seemed to be lost in thought about something so I didn't bother him.

I took a seat at my desk and got to work, knowing he'd talk to me once he snapped back to reality.

It didn't take long for that to happen, about ten minutes, give or take a few.

"When did you get here?" Jin asks, a little surprised. "While you were in lala land." I say as I turn my chair to face him.

"How are you feeling?" He then asks, seeming to be in better condition then I was.

"I woke up deathly hungover. I don't even remember how much I drank." I say, feeling as if I had to puke at the thought alone.

"Oh a lot." Is all Jin says in response. I pull in my lips and nod, not even wanting to know how much his version of a lot was.

"Did Yoongi get home alright?" I ask, honestly not even remembering how or when I got home myself.

Jin seemed to tense up then. My brows furrowed in confusion but I didn't say anything as I waited for Jin's answer.

All he says is yeah but the way he says it, I could tell he was not happy talking about him.

"What happened last night? Did you not think he was cool?" I ask, already knowing the answer just by how Jin was acting.

"Nothing happened last night. I just don't care for the guy. He seems like a dick." Jin says as he starts clicking away on his computer.

"Really? I think he's pretty awesome." I say and Jin's fingers punch the keys, causing me to tilt my head slightly at his random burst of anger.

"You just haven't gotten to know him like I have. I'm sure you'll warm up to him." I say and Jin doesn't say anything back but I do catch him whisper under his breath,

"Yeah, I don't think so."

Pretending I didn't hear that, I turn back to my computer, dropping it.

I wasn't sure if Jin just truly didn't click with Yoongi or if there was more to it.

I wouldn't push it though seeing as Jin already seemed angry just talking about it. Still, I was curious as to what the hell happened.

I was so drunk I don't remember anything so if something did happen between the two of them, I guess I'd never know.

Letting the topic slip out of mind, I get to work.

"Wanna come hang at my place? We can order dinner and just chill." I say to Jin once work ends.

I felt bad that we hadn't hung out much recently besides at work and I wanted to make it up to him.

"Of course. You know I'm always down for that." Jin says with a smile, his mood seeming to have improved from earlier.

I was glad. I didn't like seeing Jin all angry, it was weird and uncomfortable.

"Okay, we'll just ride back separately?" I say, knowing we couldn't just leave one of our cars at work.

"Sounds good to me." Jin says before we part ways, Jin following behind me as we made our way back to my place.

When we get there we both meet back up at the main entrance then make our way upstairs to my apartment.

As I'm going to unlock the door I can feel Jin shifting around beside me.

I glanced over at him to see his eyes darting up and down the hallway as if watching for someone.

"You good?" I ask, a little weirded out by his behavior. He was acting very strange to say the least.

He looked back at me before forcing a smile. "Yeah, I'm great."

"Weirdo." I mumble out as I push open the door, walking inside with Jin trailing behind me.

"Let me just get changed and I'll be right out." I say as Jin shuts the door, the both of us making our way to the living room.

"Alright, I'll find something to put on." Jin says and I nod as I head to my room, ready to get out of my outside clothes and put on something more comfortable.

I throw on a pair of leggings and a plain gray hoodie before I head back to the living room where I find Jin seated on the couch, flipping through channels.

"Find anything good?" I ask as I take a seat beside him, not leaving much space between the two of us.

"Not really. Do you have anything in mind?" He asks as he glances over at me. "Whatever works. Just put on the first one you see." I say and that's exactly what he does.

We order food and watch some random show as we wait for it to come.

As we're watching the show, my phone goes off, catching both of our attention.

I pull my phone out of my hoodie pocket, clicking the screen on only to see a text from Yoongi.

I had fun last night, let's do it again some time! -Yoongi

From beside me I can feel Jin stiffen and I knew instantly he had read the text on my screen.

I didn't mind, I was always open about everything seeing as I had nothing to hide nor a care in the world about stuff like that.

Not that it mattered seeing as I didn't have anyone I needed to be faithful to but I just felt a bit strange now when it came to the two of them.

It was obvious there was some weird tension between the two of them and so getting a text from Yoongi while Jin was right beside me just felt kinda...wrong?

Not wanting to make Jin upset, I decided to just answer Yoongi back later as I slipped my phone back into my pocket and turned my attention back to the tv.

Soon enough, the food arrived and Jin seemed to forget all about the text which I was thankful for.

The last thing I wanted was Jin getting upset. Although he really had no reason to be.

At the end of the day, Jin was my best friend and Yoongi was nothing more than my neighbor and casual acquaintance.

Well, something like that.
