It shouldn't be this way.

Kai did not know what was going on. Normally all it took was a few sweet words and wink or two before someone fell for him, but (Y/N) seemed completely unaffected.

Okay, yes, he messed up at the bookstore. AND fell for the 'Nunya Business' trick. AND got rejected multiple times.

But none of it was his fault! Kai did everything right! It was (Y/N) that was the problem.

Kai turns his gaze to the two people in the hallway.

"Well, um, he's my type so, uh, stay away from him!"

The girl says with a blushing face.

"You're a beautiful girl, why are you still single?"

(Y/N) inquires.

"I had a boyfriend."

The girl says quietly.

"And who was that?"

"It was Kai... But we ended on good terms!"

The girl flinches at (Y/N)'s deadpan expression.

"You still love him."

(Y/N) bluntly stated. The girl looked down, tears at the edge of her eyes. (Y/N) lifted the girl's chin.

"How can you love him? He doesn't even know your name."

"Do you?"

The girl asked bitterly. No one ever noticed her. Not even the love of her life.

"Of course, Allison."

Allison broke down in tears right there, (Y/N) knew HER name! They even comforted her.

Kai turned away from the PDA(Public Display of Affection).

He felt this bitter anger as (Y/N) looked at the girl. Jealousy? He didn't know that feeling. Kai would never be jealous of anyone.

He was a person who could have anything, and anyone he wanted.

And he wasn't going to let (Y/N) ruin that.

Meanwhile...

"Wow, Mr. Playboy seems to be having problems."

Someone said while jabbing the person next to him.

"Something does seem different..."

A person muttered.

"No sh*t."

The 'someone' responded.

"I wonder if we will experience the same thing?"

"Hope we do, that would be refreshing."
