My eyes glared down towards Tom, as did the other three. Our hearts filled with hatred. "Now, Matteo. You wouldn't hurt your fathe—"
"You're not my father! You never have, and never will be. Especially not now!" Matteo interuppted his wand pointed towards his father's heart. I knew if Tom tried to do anything, Matteo would silence him once and for all. My eyes caught sight of my little brother finally reappearing, practically unscathed. I turned towards him as he ran over to Ginny. Oh dear g-pa, I forgot she was here.

"Harry? You alright? Where's the Basillisk?" I questioned my brother, kneeling down and leaning over the Weasley. I felt her pulse, she's barely alive.
"Yes, Potter. The process is nearly complete. In a few minutes, Ginny Weasley will be dead, and I will—"
"SHUT UP, TOM!!" I heard my children scream causing me to smirk. However, the fun was cut shut and I almost jumped out of my skin as something burst the surface of the water behind me. I turned rapidly and drunk in the sight of the Basillisk. I grabbed Timothy and Melanie.
"Time to go" I exclaimed practically dragging them back to the entrance. But I stopped realising Harry wasn't with us. I looked back and noticed Harry now had the sword of Gryffindor and was holding it towards the Basillisk. "Children, go. I'll get Harry. Just get to safety" I ordered already on the move towards my brother trying to get over to him. I watched Harry run over to head of Slytherin and began to climb. I picked up my speed and followed after him, narrowly dodging the teeth of the Basillisk as it tried to attack me thinking I was Harry. "HARRY FOR GODS SAKE, HELP ME!" I screamed towards my little brother and he grabbed my hand and pulled me up. And we both began to climb further, me almost getting killed again in the process. I narrowly missed it's teeth again — nevermind. I groaned pulling myself up to the top of the statue. "Oh for your maker's sake, Bassie. Quit it!!" I screamed when the ruddy snake tried to kill me again. The basilisk stopped it's movements hearing it's name and I grimaced knowing exactly what was about to happen. "No, no, no, no, no" I repeated jumping at the last minute just as she went for me again. I groaned as my shoulder collided with the wall trying to brace myself against something, not realising Bassie also knocked Harry off his feet causing him to let go of the sword. My eyes widened as I caught sight of the sword beginning to slip, my feet moved on its own. Footsteps running, joining me in a joint objection and both me and Harry grabbed the sword handle and thrusted it upwards, penetrating the top of the basilisks mouth.

I almost screamed in pain as one of her fangs now found its home in my arm, the venom beginning to seap through my blood stream. We pulled it out and the basilisk began to swivel and swirve in the air before flopping onto the ground. Dead. A groan fell from my mouth as I removed the fang from my arm. My feet almost collapsing on themselves and I tiredly made my way down from the statue. Harry groggily following behind, in the same state as I was. Getting to the ground, I noticed my children watching from the entrance, and I finally collapsed from exhaustion. Alarming them.
"MOM!" I faintly heard but I ignored them, squeezing my tricep trying to block the venom but it was no use as it made it past already. I looked at Tom and saw the smirk sitting on the corner of his lips. He knows I'm gonna die, he's finally gonna get what he wanted.
"Remarkable, isn't it... how quickly the venom of the basilisk penetrates the body? I'd guess you both have little more than a minute to live. You'll both be with you dear Mudblood mother soon, Harry and Leila" Tom exclaimed causing me to glare at him, a small growl left my lips as I inched my hand towards the diary and grabbed it. "What are you doing?" Tom asked panicky as I opened it. My hand raised the fang. "Stop. No!" The fang come down and collided with the diary, beginning to squirt ink from its pages. Oozing out like blood. A hole opened up in Tom's chest as I pressed the fang harder into its pages, my eyes watching everything. The pain of his face conjuring up the feeling of satisfaction and joy in my bones. He went towards me, but I brung the fang down again on its other pages. A hole now ripped into his face, more holes following after. And it was time to finish him off. I closed the diary and took one final look at my ex husband.
