Sophie P.O.V
(Wednesday)
"Honestly I don't even know what that flute girls problem is. She pisses me off to no extent," Biana complained to me.
"You need to calm. Down. I'm sure she's not trying to make your life hell or that she's out to get you," I say, shoving things into my locker and slamming it shut. I pick up my trumpet case from the floor and walk side by side with Biana to the auditorium.
"You don't get it Sophie! She keeps giving you flirtatious glances and we can't have that!" Biana goes into overprotective girlfriend mode. I sigh.
"I'm like one hundred percent sure she isn't." We make it just as everyone is filing in, and split ways since she plays the flute. I see Keefe setting up his trumpet and his music and grab a seat beside him.
"Hey Keefe," I nod at him.
"Hey Soph. Did you hear about the competition next week? We're going against Half-Blood high and Voltron high so it should be really fun," he tells me then plays a few notes on his instrument to start warm ups.
"Wait really? I didn't know that. I think B's friend Piper is in the band at HBH so she'll be excited to see her." I pick up my trumpet just as our conductor, Mr. Leto, walks in and silences us.
"As most of you might have heard, we will be attending a competition next week against two other schools. Detailed emails have been sent out to your families and you will receive a form and schedule after rehearsal," he says. Everyone claps and cheers, chattering excitedly.
"Alright everyone! Let's begin."
We play through two of our four songs, almost perfecting them. The rehearsal finishes and Keefe and I pack up and meet with our friends.
"Hey everyone!" I shout and wave. Biana sees me and smiles, gesturing Keefe and I over. As soon as I'm beside her, her arm is around my shoulder. The feeling still makes me get butterflies in my stomach.
"Fitz and I were talking about about making a text chain with some of our old friends from HBH and seeing if we can meet up before next week. I messaged Piper and she said she also has friends at VH so I told her to add them as well," Biana explains to the group. We all chat for a bit, waiting for our parents.
Nico P.O.V
(Wednesday)
"Nope. Not doing it no," I pout jokingly. Will gives me his puppy dog eyes causing Leo to laugh at us. I roll my eyes at him in annoyance.
"It's not happening Will. I don't want to socialize with the people I know, let alone a huge group of teenagers. You can't make me," I reply sticking my tongue out at the end.
"If you go I'll buy you McDonalds every day for a week?" He pleads. I sigh in defeat knowing I can't pass up this amazing opportunity.
"Ugh, fine. I'll go but we're shaking on it and make it two weeks starting tomorrow. Deal?" I stick out my hand. He shakes it hesitantly, then smiles brightly. I shove him lightly and Leo giggles again.
"Can you get out? You're interrupting our moment, Valdez," I tease.
"You can't even kick me out. This is literally MY dorm room. Why don't YOU get out huh?" He smirks. I glare at him and drag Will out just as Jason is walking in. Perfect timing. Will and I go to the cafe across the street where Piper works and she gets us our usual stuff. Her shift ended five minutes after we got there so she sat with us.
"So, you've probably heard we're meeting up with some people from VH and Foxfire. I was thinking this Saturday?" Piper asks.
"Works for us! Let us know where and we'll be there," Will tells her excitedly.
"Alright. I'm going to make a chat once I get home since I ran out of data so I'll talk to you gays later!" She gets up, grabbing her stuff and waving at us as she walks out. Will and I stay for a bit, eating and chatting before deciding to go home. I was supposed to stay at Leo's dorm tonight which wasn't unusual for me. Leo and I have known each other since we were like two or something and we've been best friends so even though my dorm is technically with my sister's boyfriend, Frank, I normally stay with Leo or Will. Not that I don't like Frank, he's super sweet, but I just get nightmare's so it's easier to stay with people who know what to do when I get them and-
"ico? Nicooooo." I tune back in to Leo waving a hand in my face.
"Gods, stop tuning out dude. Your boyfriend is leaving," he tells me, nodding at Will.
"Right sorry. Bye Sunshine." I kiss Will shortly.
"Bye, see you tomorrow!" He leaves, closing the door and Leo locks it.
"TIME TO PAR-TAY!" He screams.
Why am I already regretting this.
Pidge P.O.V.
(Wednesday)
I hate my friends.
"I hate you all. Except Hunk. But the rest of you, dead." I gesture against my throat to express the extremity of the situation. Coran and Lance are laughing and Keith is fighting a smile. Shiro is banging his head against the wall while Allura and Hunk just look completely disappointed.
"I'm sorry but this prank war has gone WAY too far," Shiro finally exclaims.
"Yeah no sh-"
"LANGUAGE!" Shiro scolds me.
"Sorry Dad," I smirk. He glares and me and Keith chuckles a little. Lance narrows his eyes at his boyfriend.
"Oh, I see how it is. You laugh at Pidge's over-used joke but not my genius prank? Some boyfriend you are," he grumbles. Keith also laughs at that, throwing his arm around Lance's shoulder. Lance lightens up a bit.
I'm still mad though.
"After I get revenge we can call it qui-" Ding. My phone chimes. I grab it off the table and notice everyone else checks their phones too.
