Chapter: 3

Sage pov

When I opened my eyes I saw a man in front of me staring at me. Growing angry I tilt the chair that I was tied to far back enough to where I could kick him in the head.

"You bitch, wait till the beta gets his hands on you" he hissed

I laughed at the response. " I bet he thinks I'm a guy doesn't he. Your dumb ass beta wouldn't even ask if I was a girl"

The guy stared at me for a moment, Then just walked out. A little later another man came and picked me up from the floor and carried me to the room that seemed to be my death place. I could smell Jace, the alpha and another smell I couldn't point out but it smelled of oak and strawberries, it was a wonderful scent. As we entered the room I kept my face down and hidden behind my hair. I was furious, my eyes glowed purple with anger. The man in front of me had told me to lift my head up, his beautiful low voice made me want to submit but I refused causing him to tilt my head up himself. His eyes were a beautiful shade of an almond light brown and his hair matching with it but a shade or two darker.

"Mine" he growled out causing me to shiver at his voice. He command the soldier to untie me. I had spoken up and told them to untie Jace too.

Once I was untied I ran up to Jace and hugged him. He started crying once in my arms and I tried to calm him down by rubbing his back and shushing him. I turned around with Jace balanced on my hips to see the man now so close to me I could feel his breath fan my face. I just wanted to close the gap and Kiss him but before I could tell myself not too he had done it. Giving up I had responded back to his kiss, it was deep and passionate. Jace had broken us up by mushing his hand in front of my mate face and hugging me. My mate growled at the action but relaxed.

"Who are you?" I spoke to him softly

"My name is dean and I'm the beta of this pack." He growled out softly. His name was engraved into my mind. "Can I go home now." I asked.

He tensed up but relaxed again"this is your home now, your my mate and you will never leave. I will protect you here you don't need to go back there."

Hearing him say that I almost lost balanced but caught myself before I could fall.sighing I agreed" if I'm going to stay here Jace has to stay too."

Before he could say anything some one had bursted through the door and latched on to dean. I growled looking at the girl touching my mate the way only I could touch him. She looked at me and smiled wickedly. She got on her tiptoes and kissed dean on the cheek. Snapping my eyes where already bright purple and before I had the chance to register what was going on I attacked the girl to the ground.

Omg. Her mate wanted her dead and this new bitch came out of nowhere and kissed him!? She's dead
