"Hey Laxus, how about you tell a story about your past." Makarov says to Laxus as he takes another sip of his drink. "Fine but you are going to buy me my next drink"
Chapter 2 Awakening My Power
Thunder roared, lightning crackled, I almost jumped out of my socks as the sound hit my ears. I ran as fast as I could to Grandpa, where I gripped his coat tightly.
"What's wrong Laxus is the storm scaring you" grandpa asked me. With tears streaming down my face I nodded with a yes. "Its ok I won't let it hurt you" with grandpa's calming voice, I knew I was safe.
Another roar of thunder and I screamed. Little did I know that one lightning strike outside awakened my power of lightning. My scream created sound waves of lightning and it danced away from my body. My mind returned and grandpa smiled.
The magic dissapeared and I collapsed onto the ground. "W-what happened grandpa?" I asked as he helped me up. "Laxus, that was amazing, you just awakened you lightning power, I'm so proud" I looked at him. "Now you need to learn how to control it" his voice sounded serious"I will"
Days passed and I was finally able to go on a mission alone. It wasn't anything serious, but it was enough to make me nervous.
The mission said to take out a gang of wizards that are stealing jewels from people walking alone at night, so I had three of my best friends follow me.
"You guys ready for our first mission as a team" I asked my group that will soon be named. "Yep" they all said at the same time. "I'll be there if you need me" a boy with green hair said.
"Alright follow me, but stay close don't wanna loose any of you" I said staying concerned about loosing my team.
We found a place where the paper said that they appear often. The ally was dimly lit but I could still see figures in the distance. I can prepared with a bag full of jems, and my team stayed behind.
"Well, well look at what we have here, hahaaha, what are you doing, going home after a mission" a shadow like figure looming over me. "No I'm not going home after a mission, I'm here to defeat you. But if you want these, you have to beat me first". I said holding up the bag of jems I took along with me. "Hand them over kid" the tall one said as he held out a hand signaling me to give it to him. "No I'm not giving these to you" I sassed back, the figure came into the light. "Then I'll just have to beat it out of you"
He came after me but I jumped out of the way. He was fat I have to admit but I had something special for him. "Here catch" I called to Freed, catching them he ran calling back to the other members which followed him.
"You little shit, get the boy and kill him" the leader said punching me in the face causing me to fall on my back. "Ouch asshole that hurt" I yelled out furiously, kicking him in the stomach making him fly backwards. He quickly regained balance and came after me. Before I had any time to react, I found myself on the ground with scars and gashes in my skin, they hurt so bad and I wanted to cry.
I got up and screamed creating a soundwave of lightning making everything in front of me move backwards including the guy which I imedently went after. My fists were going so fast and I used my final attack. "LIGHTNING DRAGON RAGING BOLT" once the dust cleared, he was gone.
I gathered my friends and we headed back to the guild where we bangaged up and sat at a table. "Hey Laxus, we figured out a name for our team" freed said Bicklow and Evergreen nodded. "We are now know as the thunder legion" freed said giving a smile. " I love it but why does it have to be named after my magic" I asked wondering why they named it after me. "Because you going to be the leader Laxus"
I loved it and so did everyone else.
"Ok Gramps where's my beer" I said looking at grandpa who was already buying my drink.
