She'd recently heard that her dear younger brother has brought a young woman into their home. To be honest she didn't know where the woman was staying, if she did she would've made an appearance by now. She sashayed down the long cream colored hallway, the sun let light through the large windows making the walls appear brighter than they actually were, the ceiling curved into arches above her. Her crimson braid bounced against her lower back as she smirked and waved at the maid that was walking down the corridor in front of the lilac eyed woman, causing the maid to scurry away with her head down to attempt to hide her flustered face.

The red haired woman loved how they all thought her a god among mortals.

She chuckled to herself as she approached double oak doors that had detailed engraving of a forest scene, gold leafing dusted the border of the doors making it seem far more enchanting then it actually was. It was just the council room after all, nothing too special; though some would kill to be in this room but that was most likely to gather information that could be used against the crown. She grasped both of the engrained golden doorknobs, twisting them, and pushing the detailed door open.

"Did ya' miss me, brother dearest..?"

His eyes felt like they were drooping, his unusual sleep schedule made his already dark eyebags darker. And it didn't help he was up the majority of the night wondering how the (H/C) woman ended up in his palace, she had just appeared out of thin air without warning. He's spent all of his morning and most of his afternoon in the council room listening to the members argue over what to do with her. One wanted to use her as bait against their neighboring kingdom, and another wanted to keep her to himself which caused the young king to glare at the man making the room turn silent for a whopping thirty seconds. "Oh, Goddess Adaline, I beg. Please send some sort of distraction.." He mentally prayed, wanting to lay in his soft and cushioned bed. She very much heard his prayer, and she answered. The door blew open with a flair, obviously opened by someone who wanted to be noticed.

"Did ya' miss me, brother dearest..?"

"Anyone but her!" The violet eyed male instantly regrets his prayer to the gods.

He sat up from his slouched position on guard. He didn't hate his older sister, per say, it was just that Cynthia was far too much to deal with and was sort of a disgrace to the family name. Not to mention she spent most of her time in random peoples beds instead of helping her brother in ruling their kingdom which was her job as princess, not that he needed her. And Cynthia knew that, she was there when their dying father gave his eldest son the crown instead of his daughter.

She didn't really care either. Truth be told she hated her old man, he's the one that caused their mothers death. Hating the fallen king was one of the only things her and her three younger brothers could agree on. Cynthia grinned at the council members wide eyed expressions as she walked towards the only other open chair that sat to the right of her sibling and propped her feet up onto the table in front of her.

"So...," she leaned back in her chair, its front legs lifting off the ground, "a little birdie told me you brought a maiden home last night, and guessing from those eyebags she didn't let you sleep a wink last night, eh Maximillian?" She laughed ignoring her brother's sharp glare. "No, as soon as she showed up here I had her sent to the higher cells." The higher cells were made for nobles who were being held for trial due to them being too untrustworthy to be left at their manors with only a few guards on hand. If they were held in the regular cells they would throw hissy fits and attempt to get his highness on the other noble's bad sides, though nothing would spark from it.

The red haired woman sighed at her brother's insolence, letting the chair legs rest fully on the marble floor. "You truly expect her to stay if you keep her there? Oh...I thought I taught you better. I'll send for someone to collect her, I would do it myself but I have an appointment to get to." She stood up and started to walk back to the door she had just entered, but she stopped as she heard Maximillian get up as well. "Last time I checked, dear sister, that woman still needs to be interrogated. If you let her out and she turns out to be some sort of demon- '' Cynthia looked over her shoulder at her irritated sibling and gave her a slight shrug, "then I won't let her go, but at least let the poor girl feel welcome, Goddess... How cruel can you be?" She giggled slightly before finally turning to face forward and left the council room.

She did have an appointment she had to get to. She wouldn't lie about that, she just didn't specify what kind of appointment.

Hypnos' clutches still held on to the girl no matter how hard she struggled to open her eyes. Her body felt heavy, it wasn't exactly comforting. (Y/N) couldn't move, realizing this made her breathing quicken. It felt like she was underwater, all the noise she did have the privilege to hear was garbled out.

"HAHA, you did grand, my dear girl. Absolutely marvelous." The booming voice invaded her mind, she tried to respond to it with her own questions 'who are you?' 'What am I doing here?', but she quickly found that she couldn't make any noise, let alone speak. "If I were to be completely truthful, I doubted that you would be able to make it this far. I thought you would be dead by now, I am happy to see that I was incorrect in this instance even though I am mostly never wrong." It said, (Y/N) thought it was quite obnoxious for a disembodied voice that was probably caused by her own stress, but she let it continue boasting. "You see, my dear human, when I was not in this situation I owned everything and everyone in the land I once ruled. I destroyed anyone who stood in my path, I was and still am the most powerful man in this world!" The (E/C) eyed girl mental rolled her eyes, 'of course it's a man spewing this bullshit, why am I surprised?' It was silent for a few moments, the woman was about to finally get somewhat comfortable due to the pressure she once felt dispersing when he decided it was a great idea to speak up again.

"I must go for now, my dear. But before I leave I should tell you not to trust those Pochards nor their kin. Farewell.
