By No One In Particular, The Great Sage's Theme - Miitopia Music Extended

I charged at the Dark Lord with all the strength I had mustered up to this point, but he laughed as he sent me flying back with a single slap. I rolled on the ground several times before coming to a stop, and as I struggled to get up, I noticed the Dark Lord was charging up a big ball of dark energy, no doubt aiming to kill me. I held my sword out in front of me as I closed my eyes, hoping for the best.
Suddenly, I heard a voice. "Hold it right there!" The voice shouted from a distance behind me. When I opened my eyes, a turquoise beam of magic shot at the dark ball of energy and destroyed it. The Dark Lord was flabbergasted for a second before he glared again, looking past me. "Who dares?" He called out in frustration.
I turned around to see who my savior was, but there wasn't anyone there. Then I looked up to see a figure flip over me, landing a few feet in front of me. The figure wore a white and turquoise robe and carried an iron staff. They stood in front of me as though to defend me from the Dark Lord's attacks.
"So you're the Dark Lord I've heard so much about." My defender said, pointing their staff at our assailant. "You've gathered quite a profile in your few days of existence."
The Dark Lord somehow glared even more. "Didn't anyone ever tell you that nobody likes a party pooper? Come on, step aside so I can crush this puny 'hero'!"
"As if!" From the voice of my rescuer and from their long, chestnut brown hair, I was able to tell this was a woman who had come to my rescue. "You think this land and its people are yours to control? Well, you won't be getting your way for much longer!" She stretched out her arms, and a circle of light appeared at her feet as strands of magic flew around her. I was awed at the sight. "Not if I have anything to say about it!"
The Dark Lord shook his head. "Bah! I might just let you live, this time! But the next time we meet, Hero, you won't have this Great Sage to rescue you!" And with that, he spirited away.
With the threat to my life gone for now, I breathed a sigh of relief. The Great Sage turned around to see me still kneeling on the ground, and I looked into her beautiful face. I smiled weakly as she chuckled, reaching down with her free hand to help me up. I took it and pulled myself up.
"How do you do?" She greeted me as we faced each other.
"Well, I'm a lot better now that you're here, that's for sure." I said.
"That's good, I'm glad I could be of help."
"So who are you?"
"They call me Meghan. I'm a traveling mage. Though some may refer to me as the Great Sage."
"Nice to meet you, Meghan. I'm Connor."
"Good to meet you too, Connor." Meghan looked back to where the Dark Lord had been. "He referred to you as the Hero. Why is that?"
"I've been tasked by a guardian spirit to vanquish the Dark Lord. Once he realized that I was bestowed divine power to fulfill this quest, he's seen me as priority number one."
"Intriguing!" She listened as I detailed my journey thus far, from the moment I'd seen a pair of eyes attach themselves to a butterfly to the amulet gifted to me by the mother of a child who'd had his face taken away. "So you're on a quest to defeat the Dark Lord?"
"Yes, that's exactly it!" I exclaimed excitedly, before looking down. "But..."
"But you feel that you're not quite strong enough?"
"Yeah. You saw how poorly I handled him. If not for you, I'd have died right then."
The Great Sage considered me. "I sense a strange power within you, though. It might not seem like much right now, but it will grow and grow as you continue your journey."
I nodded. "Right. I'll work on that!"
She smiled. "If fortune is on our side, we will meet again. Until then!" And with that, she walked away, leaving me in a daze of glory.

This sounds general enough that you can insert it into any fantasy story, but it was actually from a music piece from one of my favorite video games, Miitopia. Basically you can cast your friends and family as DnD characters and go on an adventure. I actual have the link for the video here:
