Never Too Late

Rowan

Rowan was a big guy with black long hair and black glasses. He had an emo look, except he was passionate about working out and body building. He worked as a personal trainer at the gym.

It was just another day, and Rowan walked in the doors to the gym greeting everyone he saw. He got into the locker room where he dropped his stuff off and prepped for the day. He sat on one of the benches and inhaled deeply with his eyes closed. He tried pushing away the thoughts always dreading him. This is the time where he can actually forget about his past.

Today, he had his regular trainees that he helped in their workout routine. There was also a new person. When she walked in through the front doors, he saw her golden hair shimmer in the light and eyes flicker around. She was beautiful.

"Hi there I'm looking for Rowan." She said to someone at the front desk.

Rowan was over in the stretch out area and saw her lips moving in such a cute way. He was too distracted by her lips and hadn't realized he was staring right at her. She was looking back at him while the guy at the desk was pointing towards Rowan.

Rowan shook his head, gathered his thoughts and made his way towards the girl.

"Hi I'm Lynn."

He couldn't focus the entire time he was taking her through the gym and helping her train. Holy shit. She was like a goddess.

After a long day at work, Rowan drove home and walked into his apartment. He took a seat on his couch and relaxed. He turned on the tv and watched his favorite show Ink Master.

He couldn't stop thinking about Lynn. She almost reminded him of one of his exes. He was starting to have obsessive thoughts that kept him up that night.
