Chapter 43: Family Day

"Jimin hyung, are you ok?" Taehyung asks as he sets down the pasta he had made.

"Yeah. I am actually relieved that I have several of my sisters here today. I can take care of them and help them heal from this ordeal." Jimin smiles as he rocks a sleepy Aemin.

The family did not watch the hearing, but they are gathered in the living room to hear the verdict. Jimin's sisters who are old enough to understand what is going on are nervously watching with mixed feelings. They know that their father has done terrible things, but he is their father.

"We find the defendant guilty." This sentence causes Jimin to sob in relief. He doesn't know why, but he is beyond relieved and the emotions that he's pent up are finally released.

Yoongi instantly pulls his crying mate into his arms and rocks him. Jimin sobs and clings to Yoongi as he lets out everything he has been holding in. Bimin and Minah quietly watch as their older brother cries in his mate's arms.

The younger sisters instantly run to their older brother and try to make him stop. Jimin softly laughs as he feels their soft ears tickling his face.

"I'm ok. Oppa is ok." Jimin sniffles and kisses their foreheads.

"Oppa, what will happen to Mom and the rest of our siblings?" Soomin asks as she looks at him for an answer.

"I'm sorry, Soo. I don't know, but Oppa promises to take care of you and protect you." Jimin promises and looks at his sisters.

"Will our classmates know who our dad is?" Yoomin asks with droopy ears. She doesn't want to be known as a criminal's daughter.

"No. No one will know. Yoongi and I were discussing giving you the last name of Min so that no one would know." Jimin tells them with a soft smile.

"I would be Min Minah." Minah giggles quietly as she enjoys the sound of the new name.

"I drew up all of the adoption papers last night." Baekhyun smiles as he pulls out  a stack of papers.

"REALLY?!" The thirteen year old triplets, Yoomin, Somin, and Soomin, squeal in excitement and run over to Baekhyun to see their new names.

"Really. There will be a court date set, and we will have to get mother and father to let go of their custody or have a judge decide that if they refuse." Jimin explains as he watches the twelve bunny tails wiggle in excitement as they all look at their papers.

"Appa." Aemin giggles while playing with her paper, not knowing what is going on.

Yoongi softly chuckles as he watches the four year old happily wander around the apartment with Kihyun waddling behind.

The rest of the stressful day is filled with relaxing and laughter. The girls keep calling each other by their new names with bright smiles. Taehyung and Jungkook watch with smiles as the girls play with the pups and talk to them. The pups are definitely enjoying all of the new attention.

"So, I see that you and Jungkook finally had time alone." Jin grins as he eyes a hickey decorating Taehyung's neck.

"It was nice." Taehyung smiles and blushes.

"Pups in nine months?" Jin goofily chuckles.

"No." Taehyung laughs and looks at Jungkook who is planning with the others on how to make the apartment better to house the twelve new additions.

"Are you happy?" Jin asks as he wraps his arm around Taehyung's waist.

"I am happy. Very happy. What about you?" Taehyung hums and closes his eyes as he relaxes in his older brother's arms.
