"Good morning, daddy!" his 10 year old daughter exclaimed, with a beaming smile, from the kitchen island. He smiled as he pressed a kiss to her forehead then went to his 6 year old son, who had syrup on his face, and did the same.

"Good morning, you two. Good morning, love." he went to his wife who was making his plate. She giggled as he pressed his pink plump lips to her temple. "Good morning, honey. Here's your breakfast." a wide smile on his handsome 36 year old face brightened the already bright kitchen. "Ah, you're the best, thank you!"

"Daddy daddy, guess what!?" Yuri bounced in her seat. His eyes lit up, loving to hear what she had to tell him. If there's one thing he loves most in the world, it's his kids. Yuri and Chul. Being a professor isn't always easy but Seokjin makes do. The fact that he spends majority of his weekends, grading papers, makes him want to quit, at times.

He loves his job - don't get him wrong - loves being a history professor, but having to miss spending his weekends with his wife and kids makes him feel awful. Not to mention it doesn't help the relationship with his wife. The sex is rare even though he does get horny, it's just that he's always tired. Now with the upcoming new college year, he's going to be stressed which might make him getting hard a problem. It also doesn't help that he's got new students from the US and several other international countries, but also lately, he's been feeling not himself. He's only 36 but feels as though his life has simply passed him by in the blink of an eye.

"Tonight, I'll be home late, 10 at the latest." Seokjin said, taking a giant bite of his toast. He stands at the coffee maker with he toast in his mouth, both hands at work. "Is there something important happening today?" his wife asks.

"As you know, today's orientation for every student, so there's that. I got a new student, to which I have to prepare for. Making sure I have enough copies. Plus, and lastly, all the professors are going to dinner for the annual back to school dinner."

His wife nods in understanding as she takes the kids plates and puts them in the sink. "Go brush your teeth, your bus is almost here. Didn't you know in advance about all this?" she asks, her long and wavy black hair cascading down her back.

"No, I was just told yesterday after getting out of my doctor's appointment." he sneers, hating last minute notices. He thrives on not only punctuality but also ready and awareness. He likes to be prepared in advance by at least a week if possible. He's a perfectionist.

His OCD wires him this way, it's not his fault. It's why you'll never see a stray hair, out of place or dirt anywhere on him or in his home. Especially when it comes to his family. His home is in perfect condition, not a scratch or scuff on the walls, and most definitely not an ounce of dust. Everything has a place and a label, including his precious label maker with the label being; 'label-maker'.

He can't recall exactly when it all happened, he just remembers one day his mind went into sudden chaos when he couldn't find his cereal. He spent close to three hours organizing and rearranging everything his 9 year old self could reach. And that was just without the step stool.

"God, is the Dean trying to wreak havoc? What is wrong with her?" his wife says, her eyebrows furrowed as she tried to scrub the plate. Seokjin sighed as he opened two sugar packets simultaneously and dumped them into his freshly brewed and steaming hot cup of coffee. "I can't blame her, we just got a shit ton of new students and she's trying to place them. She doesn't think there's enough dorms for everyone which means she's trying to add more people to the dorm apartments but comfortably."

"Ah." she breathed.

"Alright, I'm all set. I'm heading out, I'll see you tonight, love." with a peck to her lips, he walked to the front door and left.

"Excuse me, can you tell me- Hello, can you point me- Seriously !?" the young 19 year old groaned, throwing her arms up in the air in frustration, feeling defeated. She stood there sulking, looking around for anyone to see her distress.

"Maybe we can help." a deep voice said as a finger tapped her shoulder. The young girl turned around with a startle, her hand to her chest. "Wo- Shit! You scared me."

Her brown eyes fell on three young men standing side by side, looking down at her. All three had a small smile, very inviting. One had black hair in a ponytail with an undercut, the one in the middle had black hair that looked damp and slightly covered his eyes. He had plump lips and was slightly shorter than the other two but almost to their height. The third male, who was the one who tapped her had a baritone voice. His hair was a bright red and he sported a bandana that tied in the back.

"Oh, heh, sorry. We just saw you struggling and thought we could help. I'm Kim Taehyung. That muscle bunny with the ponytail is Jeon Jungkook. And this short stack-" Taehyung pointed but before he could finish his sentence a voice cut him off. "Excuse me, asshole but I'm 5'9. Hi, I'm Park Jimin." Jimin placed a hand on his chest in mock offense before looking to the girl with a naturally flirty smile.

"What's your name?" Jungkook spoke up, giving her a warm smile. The young girl blushed ever-so-slightly as she stared at their intimidating, yet, deep and dark gazes. "Aurora Nova Carter. 19 year old, a freshman. It's nice to meet you guys." she confidently extended her hand and shook theirs eagerly. Aurora had always been an outgoing individual ever since her days in daycare.

"Wait, your first name is named after a natural phenomenon found in both the northern and southern hemisphere? And then your middle name is based off a transient astronomical event that causes the sudden appearance of a bright 'star' that takes months to fade?" Taehyung asked in awe, eyes slightly wide.

"Wicked." Jungkook whispered.

"Sick." Jimin breathed.

All three boys had eyes filled with awe.

"Let me guess; Astrology major?" Aurora looked at Taehyung who blushed and nodded shyly. "And what about you two?" she motioned towards Jimin and Jungkook. Jungkook rubbed his nape as he glanced at her. "Uh, Computer Game Design." Aurora's eyes widened then she looked at Jimin who had no ounce of shyness in his stance and facial expression as he proudly leaned forward. "Business Management."

"Wow, loovee~ That's so cool how you three have such different career dreams but mesh so well. You three must be friends." she smiled.

"How'd you know?" Jimin asked in a teasing tone.

"Call it a sixth sense, I guess." Aurora shrugged with a giggle. "Anyway, I would gladly take you up on that offer to help."

The three of the boys smiled, Taehyung nodded as he took the lead. She couldnt find the Briarwood dorms and until her three knights in shining armor, no one could nor, most likely, would help her. If it had been anyone else they might've gotten angry but not Aurora. Amazingly, and quite surprisingly, Aurora had a great handle on her emotions. Growing up it was shocking at how she never yelled, never shouted and never once encountered a fight. Teachers would always ask her stepdad, Yoongi, how she never lost her cool and he'd always say "she got it from me."

Even though she wasn't his biologically, it never made a difference. When people would give him looks, he didn't care. So what, he's a 35 year old man with a 19 year old daughter. It was no big deal, he was there longer than her biological dad. As long as the guy was there and treated the kids as their own, what does it matter the age.
