"It's so beautiful.." Jadin says.. almost a whisper.
A few hours earlier she hadn't thought of where exactly they would be going.
She hadn't thought of beaches and seas or..
of paradise.
Like this.
Now they're here. Standing in front of the light blue sea. Holding each other's hand. Warm and loving.
"A girl like you should be taken to beautiful places like these." Lloyd squeezed her hand and looked at her.
She squeezed back and smiled at him.
-
They walked barefooted already.
Hand in hand, swaying their arms because they are young in love.
Looking up at the sky and the far away islands. Waiting for the sun to set. Soon.
"Wait. This is a great view." Lloyd stopped and held his camera to his face.
And Jadin looked at where his gonna take a shot at.
She remembered how Lloyd likes photography a lot. It's his dream.
And after all if we wasn't an idol he'd be a photographer.
He said every little detail in a picture means something.
It brings back the long forgotten memories that people tend to forget.
But the picture doesn't, it shows it.
"What the?" Jadin says when she turned to Lloyd. He included her in what she thought would be a picture of the Island only.
"It's a good shot." Lloyd smiled looking at the cam.
"I don't think so.." She tries to catch a glimpse of her shot.
"No.." Lloyd moves the cam away.
"I just wanna see it.."
"Maybe later.."
"Why? You're so mean."
"You're just gonna try to delete it." Lloyd pushes her forward and puts his arm around her back.
"Why? is it that ugly?" Jadin asked as they start to walk again.
"No..." Lloyd laughed.
"Then why are you laughing?"
"Nothing..."
Jadin made a fake pout. But that would seem to work on Lloyd.
"There's nothing in you that's ugly." Lloyd pulled her closer and whispered in her ear.
Jadin laughed "Nice try.."
"Ha-ha!" Lloyd laughed, reaching up to mess with her hair.
"Oh no no.." Jadin runs waving him off.
And before she even thought of it. Lloyd is already running after her. "OMG!"
"You shouldn't have run!" Lloyd shouts after her.
She looked back to see him getting closer. She funned faster.
She's determined to tease him. To not get caught. Until he gets tired. Because she knows he will eventually be the first one to give up.
Lloyd shouts to her again. Getting closer.
Until he's almost just an arm away.
Jadin screamed and giggled when he catches her.
His arm on her waist, pulling her to him.
They laughed at each other as they were to fall, out of balance.
"I got you." Lloyd whispers. Laughing at his success as Jadin tries struggles to set free.
She looked at him, laughing and then she gave up. No use of struggling to be free from his strong grasp.
A grasp of possesiveness like he'll never let her go. Funny isn't it.
Finally he lets her go after seeing the water come close to their feet.
"Come on!" he says.
She followed him to the water and just when she thought that their childish acting of running and chasing us over. It wasn't.
The next thing she knew was Lloyd splashing water on her, the water mostly reaching her face. A little cold and fresh on her skin. It's so cool perfect for a hot day.
Then she starts splashing water on him too. Faster and plentier.
Whenever it's Lloyd who splashed the most she shields herself from it. Afraid of getting water on her ears.
Like little kids who have never played with water before. They splashed with the water and laugh at each other whenever one of them gets the most and cannot splash back.
They got further to the sea and the water is almost waist level. They stopped until they're already soaked.
Jadin watches as Lloyd brushed his hand along his hair, trying to shake of some water.
"Sunset." He looked far ahead. "Watch." he moved to Jadin and back hugged her.
He rested his chin on Jadin's shoulder.
Watching as the sun sets.
The color of red orange splashed across the sea. Vibrant and warm.
The sun looks close and invading. Half of the sea reflects to it.
The sky.. turned a light red orange, still and scattered.
It' so beautiful and perfect. And this.. this is what they came here for.
Jadin's world stopped for a moment.
And she held on tighter to Lloyd's warm and loving arms.
There's nothing more she could ask for.
