Context: Dream has 16 yr old brother called Ryan
DREAMS PERSPECTIVE:
I'm picking up Ryan from school today. I used to go to this school, and a lot of the teachers I see inside, I know. but I see Ryan outside getting kind of cornered by a bunch of seniors.
"Fuck that," I say. I instantly get out of my car, and slam the door. I walk over, and Ryan lets out a giant sigh of relief.
"Whats going on here?" I say, putting my keys in my pocket.
The 3 seniors turn and look at me. "Who are you?"
"I'll ask you one more time, what's going on here?"
"This cunt snitched on us for making him give us his essays," one of the seniors say.
"What did you just call him?"
"I said he's a cunt."
"That's my little brother, and he's no cunt, but I am." I grab one of the seniors by his collar, and pull him towards me. "Fuck with him one more time, and I'll have your head on my fucking wall." I shove the senior back and he stumbles into the wall. None of his friends do anything. I grab Ryan by the arm and pull him out of the little ring.
Ms. Danvers, the principal, walks out. She sees me walking by, and stops me.
"Ohh, Clay Cooper! What a lovely surprise to see you again!" she exclaims happily. Ms. Danvers always had a soft spot for me, even though I was an absolutely terrible kid.
"Ohh, yeah, well, im just picking up Ryan," I say, shaking her hand. She smiles.
"Well, you two better head home now, alright. Drive safe hon!" she waves goodbye, and I smile at her. She goes to head back inside, but I stop her.
"Oh, and, Ms. Danvers, you might wanna keep an eye out on those three seniors over there."
"What have they been doing?" She asks, immediately concerned.
"They were picking on Ryan, they're just lucky I didn't step in and do anything," I say.
"Oh, Clay, you're a good kid looking out for your brother like that! Look, you are welcome to stop by here anytime. You've always known you were my favourite student... I'll scurry off now and get out of your hair, but I'll make sure to keep those boys away from my poor darling Ryan. Good genes, in your family!" She says, smiling at me and hobbling off.
Ryan giggles a little and gets in the car. I get in, and start it up. I rev the car as loud as I can, just to get everyone looking, before speeding off.
"Thanks, Clay," Ryan says.
"It's no worries, seriously. I got you, man."
